Sabrina, I think you would like the 2BR ATS for 1 reason - the separate bedroom for the girls.  The absolute only downside to the ATS is the walk.  If they put that suite somewhere else on the boat (and of course, I realize that its being on the aft is what MAKES it so special) I would get that room every time.  I love the fact that there are no stairs and of course the big, big balcony....so nice.  I just can't do that walk anymore.  But the girls will have their own room AND their own REAL beds.

We have an AT 2BR on harmony next year. End of may going to coco kay.  Looking for our 2021 room now... thinking ovation to Alaska if the route is still good.

Right there with you... we have it booked for 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Which AT 2BR was it? We have 10330 next year on Oasis.

Right there with all of you.  We have 2 ATS lined up at the moment.  One in 2020 and one in 2021.  @WAAAYTOOO I agree that the separation from the girls will be really nice but I really like the loft.  The walk doesn't bother me.  We all need more steps after all that eating.  I like the open and airy feeling of the loft.  But I will take any Star Class!  I'm even brave enough to squeeze 14 in the Villa! ?

Hey @Lovetocruise2002, watch the round 3 scope.  Towards the end I hit the teen center room for you.   I couldn't get it all since I didn't want to scope some kids that were in there.  Let me know if you need another....

Ok. Will do.  Thanks!  Still working that annoying dinner thing...

Soooooooo..... yeah im posting as we sit here after the first 5 or so minutes of The Gift because it just stopped due to technical difficulties.  We'll see how long it takes and how many people leave

Well the show got canceled.   The CD came on stage to apologize and said it's rescheduled for tomorrow at 10pm.  Looks like time to make a casino run.

Bermuda tomorrow, so no live scoping till maybe tomorrow evening.

Izumi on deck for dinner tomorrow, not sure about that one after draggin the kids to the sushi making class way to early this morning.

Oh just a quick room update .... we are above the 270 theater,  so it's 11 PM and we can hear the bass from the show there.   Yeah, it's a bit loud.

Flip side, had to deal with chairs being dragged around in Concierge Lounge when staying in a Grand Loft on deck 10.

Guess moving the Lofts is one thing Spectrum has done wise.

Ok that's a bit lame ... the damn key people get the first 4 rows ... over Star.  That's what the sign states

Hey it was exactly like that on our 9 night Anthem last week.  We were sitting middle 2 higher than Star Class!  We thought that was crazy also.  It happened in one other show also!

One of the Gift showings got cancelled and rescheduled on our cruise last week.  That's kind of odd.

Yeah ... we didn't request the front row from our genie because we thought that was reserved for SC anyways.

That's frustrating as it seems to vary ship to ship....so you didn't know you couldn't sit up front without your Genie helping.  DH bought The Key for Adventure and from what I hear, those seats are balcony front row.  I'm a front row orchestra gal so I want to cancel The Key (and we don't get internet so overall not worth it).  Hope there are some "good" seats left when we go on Anthem as if They Key is there on top of stateroom class seats, then the best seat will be pretty far back (or on the side).  I'm a huge We Will Rock You fan, and would love to be able to get decent seats.

Enjoying your review! Seems like a great cruise so far.

WOW !  Who knew there was so much scheduled for the tweens ?  I have never had any reason to look for such things so I never realized.

Yes and then my teen goes the first night, makes friends and then wanders the ship with them not doing any of them!   Oh well, she’s happy which means I’m able to be happy!  Jane

When we went on our Anthem B2B in Feb. we had Yen save us seats in the very front row for WWRY on the first week and back by the lighting and sound booth on the second week.  Dan likes to be right up front but I tend to want to sit back a little.  We got to see it from both perspectives.  Both were very good but I still prefer being back a bit and Dan still prefers being up front !  That's why you must do a Star Class B2B every single time.  Problem solved !

I found that sitting back a bit gave us a better "view" of the orchestra which is very unique and interesting to watch on Anthem.  The musicians are located up in elevated booths on both sides of the stage and are directed by video feed from the orchestra director who is located God knows where.  On our second view of WWRY I found myself watching the musicians more than I was watching the actors.  It is definitely a unique and interesting setup.

I'm only about 15 minutes from downtown.   Nashville is a very popular place to visit but we only go down every now and then to eat. To many tourists. Lol

We are the same way with Chicago!  Busy and expensive....fun but expensive!  Looks like we may be in Nashville next year.   My daughters choir might do a show at grand old opry.  Jane

Definitely good reason to book back to back...lol.  Yes..you can get something different out of it from different perspectives.  Hoping to try to go more than once but it often doesn't work out as there are always other things going on you don't want to miss.  And unfortunately doubt  we'll ever get to Star class but can live varcariousky through others..ha ha.

After taking a beating by the waves at horseshoe bay, an afternoon snack, courtesy of JRs, before my afternoon nap.   Oh, already had a burger and fries at CK.  Btw .. we have made good friends with Austin our dedicated server we adopted.  He takes amazing care of us when he sees us come in.

I need to recover before talking about our little trip.   #where'stheadvil

Yes, at least for the Gift.   Maybe the SC people know better and gave up the seats for them. Lol

Please let us know where The Key seats are for the other two shows (I don't remember what they are). Thanks!:27_sunglasses:

Day 3 - Bermuda

First, let me say .... omg getting old sucks.   My mind says 'hell ya we can do this' .... then my body goes #wtf.

6:45 ... phone rings.  Now, before yall go and get all worked up, it was actually legit.   The past two mornings we have had our soy lattes and a strawberry banana smoothie delivered at 7.  See, we just thought we would be awake by then.   Well the first morning they knocked and knocked then rang the door bell (yeah, we roll like that ... gotta have a door bell).  This time, they called us before to make sure we were awake.   Tomorrow, yeah ... let's delay that stuff till about 9.  If we get up earlier, I'll go hunt down coffee.

We had arranged with Yen to get off by 930.  Since we had to all be back by 3.  This should give us plenty of time to snorkel at horseshoe bay and make a run to Hamilton.  Yen escorted us all the way off the ship and to the shuttles.  We would have been happy to find the shuttles, but let her spoil us.  The shuttles were $7 per person one way.  Not even realizing I should have brought plenty of cash, I was lucky I had some left in my wallet. I do have 'secret' money hidden in my wallet for emergencies ... don't you?  Lol

The shuttle ride is packed with close to 26ish folks.   Glad I put on extra deodorant and made my son put extra on.   The roads are narrow, glad I wasn't driving.   Seeing that makes me realize to NOT do one of those mowped scooter tours.  We made it to horseshoe bay in about 20 minutes.  It was pretty crowded.  We meandered up a rock cliff, past a sign that said don't do it ... but all those other people were ... ok, so me and my daughter decided to scramble up there for a quick picture.

Like I said, it was crowded.   Looking out I was expecting to see calm or semi calm water ... nope, big old crashing waves.   Well crap, there goes the snorkeling plan.  Yeah,  horseshoe bay .... don't try and snorkel.   My son and I acted his age,  he's 12 ... put our flippers and masks on and ran out there.    Three waves later we lose a flipper.... stupid wave.   Luckily, they float so we found it and I ran them back to our towels.   Oh, yeah, um, I forgot to mention ... the water was COLD ... yeah, that was unexpected.   Once you try and slowly get used to it, a wave comes and breaks and laughs at you. Now your cold and wet.  Then another wave comes and knocks you back.   It was actually fun jumping waves.  I was surprised by how much grass there was.  It wasn't seaweed, but rather some type of scratchy grass.    We had a lot of fun but had to be careful.   There was a pretty strong current that was pulling back out.  There were a couple of people that got to far out and the lifeguards had to go get them.  After getting hammered by the waves for a couple hours, we were all 'beat'  lol.   Yeah, no Hamilton run .... another shuttle ride back to the ship and back on board by 1.

The boys claimed the showers first, while the girls took off to hunt down lunch.   Oh yeah, we brought a lot of sand back ... and grass in our pockets.   We ran down to JRs to grab a burger and shake, but they don't open till 2.  I wasn't waiting 30 more minutes, so we snuck into CK.  My BH was already there snacking on a salad so we joined her.  I got a really good burger while my son ordered a pasta that he liked.

The adults retired to the room and the kids went to go meet yo with new found friends.   A nice nap was just what we needed.   But, 2 hours later we woke up and realized just how mean those waves were......ooowww

Guess what, it's time...... to eat...... again.  Back to CK for another filet.

Cruise totals:  filets .... 3
