Canceling purchased items from Cruise Planner

Ok, so I want to cancel my $35/person Thrill Waterpark passes and rebook at the $24/person rate that is out there today.  If I purchased my passes originally using on-board credit, how is that refunded to me?

It’ll go right back to your account. I’ve canceled the thrill waterpark several times already for our sailing.

I've never purchased through the Cruise Planner before. My next sailing is 7 months away and there is an excursion I would like to book.  Do I need to provide my credit card details at this point if I go ahead? Or does my onboard account (even though it doesn't really exist yet) get debited?

And if I wish to cancel because a better deal comes along, what is the process? A direct refund back onto my credit card/onboard account?

Thanks team ?

You have to give your credit card info, or you can use onboard credit.  If you cancel (to rebook at a cheaper price or because you decide something different) the refund goes right back on your credit card.  If you use onboard credit, it goes on that.  Most people will say book early and then cancel and immediately rebook if you see a better deal.  I have done this on time of excursions and drink pkgs.  Hope this makes sense!
