Absolutely...  And depending on the ship you are on, there will be several other options to choose from as well.  Lots of people avoid the Windjammer on the first day (for Lunch) as it is generally packed.

Is WJ open for lunch on embarkation day, or does complimentary dining begin with dinner on that first day? I'm sailing on the Brilliance.

Absolutely.  If you find the Windjammer is too crowded Park Cafe will also be open as soon as you board the ship.

Yes! in addition to seeking out the awesome seating space aft of the buffet section, look for the honey stung chicken on embarkation day!

Thank you for wonderful advice! Is the Park Cafe complimentary?

I always say that the best two parts of any vacation are the planning of it and the remembering of it. Maybe I left out what comes in the middle because I've never taken a cruise, before. This time I think I'll love the actual trip, too. But I am loving the planning!

Park Cafe is included.  That's where you will find salad and sandwiches and lighter fare..tends to be less crowded than the Windjammer.
