Skid
Ditto the re the drop off. But once at the pier, very impressed! Key boarding was REALLY fast, expedited through security and on board in about 5 minutes. Went to the theater to check our carry on luggage that they will deliver inside the cabin by the time we get there..part of the Key program. Then went to the specialty dining kiosk to see what they assigned for the BOGO. He immediately said we could pick whatever restaurants we want on whatever night we want. That was a pleasant surprise. So we have Wonderland for tomorrow, 150 Central Park for Monday and we also got Hooked for Tuesday. Then Solarium Bistro for Wednesday. MDR tonite, Thursday (Lobster Night) and Friday. Then went to excursion desk to reserve the exact bungalow we wanted that we bought on Black Friday. Then off to and still in Chops enjoying the Key lunch. Great little bread and pretzel bowl to start with. Mushroom soup and shrimp cocktail appetizer. Filet was good but not as good as Adventure last cruise and could have been warmer. Excellent service so far and it's pretty crowded. Cabin should be ready after this and then we'll start exploring. spiralqueen, Lovetocruise2002, The Cruise Junkie and 3 others

CGTLH
Holding true to word, Royal is consistent at being inconsistent... Saw a sign for the beverage packages, showed Deluxe for $70 ppd. Right next to it buy first day BOGO50 offer, $66 and $33 ppd... If I see the two signs together again I'll grab a shot. Update: Saw another sign with all the packages listed. $66, $29, $12.99. Guessing DX must be $

CGTLH
Wow, 15 minute muster drill. Seems to be going quicker now. Seven short followed by one long tone right at 3:45, dismissal at 4:00. Made announcements at 3:15 and 3:30, no clue when the corralling from public areas started. Also a nice touch they gave those with wheels a short head start to make it towards the lifts, sorry Agent Blair meant elevators.

Skid
MDR night 1 menu. Service and food was absolutely fine, BUT: based on much talk on this blog, I gave @Matt's spaghetti bolognese a try. It was ok. Skid
Hairspray @ 8:30. This view is from the Key seating area, upper level, dead center. Not bad at all. Still plenty of seats both upstairs and down with about 15 minutes to go. We've seen this on Broadway so will be interesting. If it's anything like the job RCL does with We Will Rock You on Anthem it will be great. Skid
Theater did fill up by showtime. The stage in Royal theater is definitely Broadway worthy as was the entire cast. Since the show is at least 1/2 less than the Broadway play it did seem a little rushed in comparison, but the performers were fabulous as were the costumes, staging, etc. Very enjoyable. Really good day but long...don't think we'll make it up for the midnight balloon drop. Skid
Good morning all. Don't know if it was because I packed so early or because I was not as careful as usual, but had some REALLY wrinkled stuff. I must be the only one who hadn't tried before, but packing tip: Do not leave home without Downy Wrinkle Releaser. That stuff is amazing. Kind of a late start today, but we are off to breakfast and then the top tier event at 10.:30 Lovetocruise2002

Skid
Breakfast at Park Cafe was really nice. Cloudy and cool right now. But better than sunny and NOT being on a cruise! Good news...Stopped in Johnny Rockets just to ask and milk shakes ARE included in the Refreshment package with no cover charge or requirement to buy anything. Met our cabin steward this morning. Then met CD Mike on the promenade..we spoke for quite a few minutes...nice guy. 6'3 and way taller making his way around on his segway. Among other things, looking forward to Quest on night 6 and 80's night on night 4. I forgot to ask about Love & Marriage which we always enjoy. Least importantly, and from what I've read here I'm in the minority in this blog group, I like the new cups...easy to carry with the handle and straw is obviously better than the paper ones now in use. Skid
Sea day, clouds, coolish..yet a lot of activities are not too crowded at all. No lines at either Flowrider, short lines at Ultimate Abyss, zip line and rock walls.Mini golf was pretty crowded, a soccer games going on at the basketball court, ping pong tables in use. Many empty tables at Windjammer at 12:30, many at window view. But a huge line at El Loco Fresh.
