Huffy
The Key program on LOS for our trip right now. I think it is worth it. Internet is slow but functional. Priority boarding and carry on bag check great. I was disappointed that the private time for Flowrider was only from 9am - 10 am on Day 2. Only time all week. Same time for climbing wall, day 3 only and Ice skating at 7:45 - 8:45 pm on Day 2. I thought we would have more opportunities. On Day 2 now and will check out priority seating for the show tonight. WannaCruise
Thanks for feedback. Good to hear you enjoyed prioirty boarding. I've heard the same about the activities. Am wondering about seating for the shows as I've heard different locations (orchestra at front vs balcony at front). Hope you're enjoying your cruise! Khowz2018
Question for you. I got the key for my hubby and i for our cruise leaving this weekend on the anthem of the seas. I didn’t hear anything about priority boarding will they know we have the key when we go to check in? I have already checked in online. Thank you! Also, just as a backup, make sure to bring a print out of a receipt or something showing you purchased the key. have a great cruise! we head out on Anthem in just over 5 weeks
Matt
When we had The Key on Mariner, I too was disappointed by the lack of private times. They certainly existed, but it's a bit more limited than I may have thought. Of course, it's hard to shut an experience down for the entire ship to allow just certain people to enjoy it. Huffy
Ok, went to our first show in the main theater on LOS tonight. There was no sign indicating The Key, but there was a sign for suite and high end loyalty cards( I forget the color). I asked the staff member checking id’s where Key holders sit and she said right here and let us in the VIP reserved area. Balcony seats in the center section. Score! Khowz2018
Thank you so much! I will print out the receipt showing we bought the key. I can’t wait to check out the anthem. Last cruise we went out of Baltimore on the Carnival Pride so it will be nice to be on a newer ship SpeedNoodles

Huffy
Used the Key to get priority tender boarding. Went to Guest Services and we were escorted down to the front of the line within 5 minutes. We were on the first tender ashore! No getting a ticket and waiting in the theater or lining up or any waiting at all! spiralqueen
Huffy
Used the Key for VIP seating in Main showroom for Saturday Night Fever show. Great seats, show just okay. The today went to dining room for our departure breakfast, it was great! Then after breakfast we asked host for our escort off the ship. He said they would be right there for us, but after 10 minutes waiting I asked another crew member for help and she got on her radio to get us an escort, but when no one was available, she escorted us off the ship and straight to our luggage in the luggage holding area. However, I would buy the Key program again, the extras were all worth the price! JohnK6404
SpeedNoodles
The one thing I did find lacking was direction on who or where Key people should find to get priority tenders and disembarkation. There seemed to be no system.

Huffy
Our instructions told us to go to guest services for tender priority and to the Bocelli dining room for breakfast and staff escort off the ship when we were ready to disembark. videjuca
When you disembark, is there a specific area for The Key guests? Thanks.
Huffy
You will go to a dining room for breakfast, just for Key members and then when you are ready to leave the ship a staff member will escort you to the front of the line and once you are scanned off the ship the staff member will escort you to your luggage in a special area of the holding zone. Then you must take your luggage and go through customs and immigration with everyone else.
videjuca
Thanks. So, the labels of your luggage have a sign of the key, haven't they?

Huffy
The day before you leave the ship you will get special “Key” tags for the luggage you set outside your room to be taken off the ship by staff. It will be placed in a separate area on the dock warehouse where you will be taken the morning that you leave the ship, after your special breakfast. You will receive a sheet of instructions that details all of this with the tags.
