Sweety
Had a wonderful cruise. On Thursday, I saw some amazing dancing by some young people. They were amazing. I saw some of the young people in the elevator and told them they were awesome. My nephew is still talking about the young man. We will be on the cruise as well and we cannot wait to get away from what has been the wettest, dreariest spring in Michigan that I can ever remember. My husband and I are teachers, too. We will be on this cruise with 186 others in our group! Yep, you read that right. We have our 13-year-old daughter and 39 dancers with us that will be performing on the ship in the Main Theatre. We’d love it if you’d take a few minutes of your sea day to come watch our kids. Anyway, I’m looking forward to your trip report, too. See you in a week! ? The dancing was awesome. The young man is great. Bbjunkie

Every Royal ship that we have been on did set up a buffet in the center of the MDR for breakfast and lunch, as well as having waiter/menu service. Yeah - the MDR buffet was on the lowest level of the MDR whereas the a la carte option was offered on one of the other floors of the MDR. I wonder if this is just a European thing...? StayFrosty
Day 4 - Sea Day Two words: sleeping in. Coco Cay and the sun had drained us, so some rest was in order. Sleeping in means breakfast at the Windjammer. It was like all Windjammer breakfasts, fine. Matt always says that sea days lead to boring blog posts but that was not the case for us. First up was the FlowRider! Now I have never done this so I was curious if my middle-aged body could do it. Don’t be like me, however, and sign your waiver before getting in line. Oops. They start you of laying down and that was fine because I did a lot of boogie boarding in my youth. Then they have you kneel then one knee one foot. Getting that foot in their was a challenge. It was a ton of fun. Or least it was until an older woman on the other side slammed into the inflatable divider which pushed it into me (maybe I contributed a little). I didn’t make it. l but wiping out was almost as fun as the “surfing.” They said I could try the standing surfing at the next session but I wasn’t about to push my luck. We tried waiting in line for the mat racer slide again but everything got shut down because of lightning in the distance. Lunch snack at El Loco Fresh it is. After a quick bite, the lightning had moved away and we succeeded in riding the mat racer. This time I even managed to not slam my shoulder into the last turn. Win for me. We spend the next couple of hours chilling in the solarium pool with a series of frozen margaritas. Lightning once again chased us away. I stopped by the dance recital put on by the youth dance group who was on the cruise. They were very entertaining. They were also very well behaved on the trip and, as someone who has led groups like his on a cruise, that is no small feat. Prior to our dinner we played a little trivia where we lost by a few points. Dinner was awesome! I know some people don’t like Jamie’s Italian but we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. We had the prawns and bruschetta was appetizers and I would order both again. For our main course I had the chicken with some sort of olive caper stuff on it and the penne pasta dish. Both were perfect. My wife had two small pasta dishes which she also enjoyed. Dessert was great too (with a little limoncello). We caught the end of “Showgirls” the song and dance production. It was fine but I think we would have enjoyed the first half more. My wife decided to turn in around 10 and I hit the casino. Even with the limited odds and other weirdness of Royal’s craps table I doubled my money. So good night. One last shot from the evening. Tomorrow we are off the boat. Skid, hayley_bopp, Whizbank and 4 others

IslandBoundMama
We are leaving out on Navigator in 14 days and I cannot wait. Your review just got me more excited. I'm also with you about breakfast in the MDR. I don't know where I had been, but we never thought to do that until one of our most recent cruises and I loved it. They had crab benedict and it was to die for. We disembark Navigator and hop right onto Allure. Our last cruise was in 2016 and we usually cruise every year so we are making up for lost time. I may do a review if I have the time, but it won't be a live one. I am happily not paying for internet so we can get away from our crazy, I mean sweet and loving children. We are like the Brady Bunch so there is his, mine and ours. Our youngest (our only together) will be the only one traveling with us this go round. Come on August 10th....just get here already.....sigh.....
