Hawaiian Ports...What to do besides diving

I am planning our next cruise, Vancouver, BC to Hawaii. I am just wondering what does everyone do in Hawaii that has done this cruise? We have never been to Hawaii before, so the only thing I can think to do is dive. The only thing with that is that we have to fly back, so we can't dive the last couple port days. Plus, there is an overnight at Lahaina, Maui. Thanks for any suggestions.

You can browse Royal's website for excursion ideas, or try something like TripAdvisor.

I plan on doing some hikes and summit type excursion, volcano plus a Molokini snorkel trip.  No fly for diving should really be the last 24-36 hours which usually isn't too hard to accomodate when cruising.   A hike to a waterfall, visiting the Volcanoes National Park on Hilo, sunset sailboat, helicopter ride over Kauai, etc. all depending on budget of course.

Without knowing more about your activity level and areas of interest all I can suggest to review the lists of excursions and see if anything looks interesting.

If you have never seen a banyan tree, be sure to take a look at one in Waikiki...
