SpeedNoodles
I started checking in for my June cruise --- now I'm getting emails from *the travel agent* that's she's trying to get it done and get my documents to me. Who's supposed to do this when you use a travel agent?
Lovetocruise2002
We always do our own online check in when booked with a TA.
SpeedNoodles
She's driving me crazy (my non-MEI agent).

SpeedNoodles
I guess having her do it is what my $100 service fee went to. WAAAYTOOO and The Cruise Junkie

MEI mailed me a folder full of documents once (without any fees). I told them to save the tree next time and printed just my SetSail pass by myself. A couple of months ago she also offered to arrange our flight with only a $50 booking fee. Ummmm....no. Paying a travel agent who is already getting paid sounds like a profitable double dip for them. Meanwhile for our Oasis 2020 cruise Costco is paying us 800 bucks in a Costco gift card for booking with them. SpeedNoodles

Costco has grown tired of my insurance company's documentation demands and directed their agents not to respond. I now can only email Costco about this issue. It was a last minute booking around the 45 day mark. What could go wrong? tiny260 and SpeedNoodles 1

We’ve booked all of our Norwegian cruises through them and have never had a problem (outside of long hold times) and them adding travel to the 2 percent executive benefit makes it even more attractive to use. JohnJohn
It was a nightmare working with Cosco. The gift cand was not worth it. our cruise was cancelled and we were told we couldn't get our money back. After 8 phone calls anda lot of aggravation my wife's Co-worker who is a travel agent finally helped us. We booked with her anditwas smooth sailing!
