twangster Posted April 12, 2019 Report Share Posted April 12, 2019 Welcome to the message boards! When a ships sails at 1630 it may begin boarding as early as 1030 to 1130. Boarding time is not exact like an airplane because it depends when US customs and immigration gives the ship clearance to begin taking new passengers. It could be if everything goes well, they receive permission to start boarding at 1030 or if the last guests are slow to leave and US customs finds people of interest they may slow the process down and not begin until closer to noon. I generally arrive at the terminal after 10am since I need to be out of my hotel anyways. If I must wait I would rather wait at the terminal compared to sitting in my hotel room waiting.
