I wouldn’t worry about it. There are plenty of observation areas to view Alaska outside of the cabin. Many people don’t even think booking a balcony cabin is necessary. And keep in mind the cruise line does a good job of turning the ship around in places so everyone sees nice views.

I have stayed in 11300 on Anthem, sister ship.  That's one deck down on the other side of the ship.

In my opinion people put too much emphasis on which side of the ship in Alaska.  Both sides are awesome.  

These cabins are a bit of a hike from the elevator lobby but for me that just burned off some calories I gained each day so I didn't mind.  I've booked another cabin in that area next year on Anthem so I have no issues with this general area.
