Ilovemyflipflops!
We just found out our RoyalUp bid was accepted on our Arctic Circle cruise in June. This is the first leg of our B2B. Since our bid was accepted, we will not have the same room for the second cruise. What will we need to do with our luggage between cruises? Is it correct that the steward will move it for us. Will we have access to our new room earlier than 1:30? I assume we won’t and that’s not a big deal. I’m just wondering how it will all work. Thanks for your help! Ilovemyflipflops!
We are on Serenade—11 day Arctic Circle and 10 day Baltic Sea. We are very excited about it. We have never sailed with Royal before, so that is one more thing to be excited about! Sweety

twangster
Typical B2B cabin change involve packing everything in your suitcase except items hanging up in the closet. Leave luggage in cabin and go to the designated meeting point provided on letter for consecutive cruisers. This letter typically appears the day everyone else is getting their departure tags. When the B2B port is in the US, you have to be escorted off the ship to meet immigration officials. Outside of the US this varies. It's possible you might not have to leave the ship, uncertain where your B2B port will be. Once processed by immigration you are given your new SeaPass card and you are done. Sometimes there is a consecutive cruiser lunch. Upon boarding the first cruise it's a good idea to drop by guest services and make sure they see that you are B2B. Mention it to your cabin attendant as well just in case so he expects to see your luggage still there on turn around day. KristiZ

twangster
In Europe it depends where the ship was on the last port before turn around day. For example the classic Barcelona Med cruise only visits EU countries. That impacts immigration since there isn’t any. For Europe cruises that include non-EU ports of call it depends on the order of ports.
