Vee2525
hello, Would love ur opinion. So, the thing is is that we want to play at casino on cruise. But. Since port is not driving distance I would prefer not to bring lot of cash on me. And would prefer not to pay fee on taking out cash on debit card. So my question is about a royal Caribbean gift card. Do u know anything about the gift cards and if they are available for purchase now before cruise and then be available for use in casino on cruise. How would all that work. Please advise thanks. WAAAYTOOO
Are you at least a Prime tier level with Club Royale ? If you are, you are exempt from paying the 5% "convenience" fee and can get $$ on your Sea Pass card at the casino. I know nothing at all about the gift card(s) so I'm no help to you there. Sorry. If you are NOT a Prime or higher member of CR then (aside from the gift card idea, of which I have no information), I'm afraid cash or opening a line of credit with CR would be your only options. If you do not know whether or not you are a Prime tier level, call Club Royale and ask. 888-561-2234 Vee2525

RC gift cards exist, but they are quite a pain to use. Technically, they are gift certificates but their redemption rules make it a lot more annoying and frankly, not worthwhile to use. Bringing a lot of cash is not what I want to do. Maybe half cash and half debit card will do. WAAAYTOOO

Yea looks like double work with these certificates if I have to pay fee anyway
