Baked Alaska
Has anyone done this excursion in Falmouth? What was your experience? I like that it's only 20 minutes from port. FAMILY THRILL SEEKERS PASS & ADVENTURE FALLS FALMOUTH, JAMAICA Play for a day on our 2,000 acre Good Hope Estate Park, located only 20 minutes from the Falmouth Port. See and experience an amazing blend of nature adventure, fun-filled and adrenaline-packed activities, wrapped in a period of colonial history and culture; perfect for the entire family. This property showcases 16 buildings of historical significance, highlighted by a 1700s Great House, and the fun-filled Jungle Adventure Falls. Listen to the stories of the historical significance of the plantation while you view these elements from a perspective that only being on the river allows. Soar through tree tops and over rolling terrain and view beautiful, historic buildings via the longest zipline in Jamaica. Splash about and enjoy the refreshing terraced waterfall for the ultimate relaxation. Adding to your fill of nature adventure activities, test your skills and balance on the challenge course, or journey back in time as you tour the Great House. TracieT.
I'm interested in this, too! We will be in Falmouth in Nov. 2019 on Indy, with our 3 boys ages 13, 10 & 6!!!
emfagan
We booked this thru RCL excursion. It was a River Float and Zipline combo. The organization of the day was not great. It took awhile to get organized at the port. There was quite a bit of waiting time between activities. However, we loved the activities. Be prepared to be drenched by your guides along the river float. The ziplines are great! The lunch was included and was delicious. We did not have time to do the wate rslide. TKinRock
We booked on Good Hope Estate through DCL last October for the House tour and lunch--as noted they operate on island time and it seems rather haphazard but everyone was wonderful. The house is quite amazing in the innovations it had for the time. The facility for lunch is a very large new pavilion which also uses old structures brilliantly. The lunch was very good. We really enjoyed the day, and driving back through Falmouth to the ship made us doubly glad we booked this trip and didn't venture into town. TracieT.
I went ahead & booked this for my family, however my 6 year old, who meets the age limit, will most likely NOT weigh 50 lbs by the time of our cruise. Do you think he will still be able to zipline & do the river float?
