If I book the X cruise in September will I be Elite on X for the Feb cruise or do I need to book after October to be Elite on the Feb Cruise? Since you will be Diamond in October, they will recognize that status in February on X and you'll get Elite benefits regardless when you book X. Once you have Diamond I'd suggest a call to X just to make sure they see your Diamond status. Congratulations on Diamond, that's a great accomplishment. KathyC Posted March 25, 2019 Report Share Posted March 25, 2019 We're going to hit Diamond in April, and have a Celebrity cruise booked for October. Our TA recommended waiting to join the Captain's Club (when you do you put in your C&A number) until the status change reflected on our C&A account. This way we come in as Elite and there is no chance for a mistake. There is no advantage to us at this point for being in the Captain's Club anyway, as we have a resident rate which is not applicable for CC discounts.
