Television Channels for Basketball Tournament

We are wondering if the bars will have the CBS channel for the Big 10 basketball tournament this weekend and the various channels for the NCAA tournament that starts next week?  I know our stateroom doesn't have the network channels, but has ESPN.  Many of the games are on CBS, TBS, etc.

A lot of times you will get an international satellite feed for sports not on ESPN.  The quality might not be full HD but you will likely have it.  We watched part of the PAC-12 football championship in our room (wanted to see who the Big 10 would play in the Rose Bowl) and that was on Fox domestically.

Last week on Navigator the ESPN feeds had different NCAA games.  Not every single game as there are too many local or regional NCAA games.

It's as much in the hands of the NCAA as it is ESPN Caribbean, assuming you are sailing in the Caribbean region.  Other parts of the world have various NCAA licensing requirements.  The NCAA controls their content and would take action against any ship that carried a game without their licensing fees being paid..

Let's put it this way... you probably stand a better chance of seeing NCAA Basketball on a cruise ship compared to a resort in some other country but the game carried at any given moment may not be the game you are interested in.

Plan B is a tablet or computer and a Voom subscription assuming you can stream the game somehow.

Yes.  If you go to CBS Sports webpage, you can stream all the games for free..March Madness on Demand.  It's full HD quality, but the internet feed is about 30 sec-1 min behind the TV feed.  If you have a Voom subscription, shouldn't be a problem for you.
