stevendom57
What is the proper abbreviation? RC? RCI? RCCL? RCCLXXY?
CGTLH
Technically RCI: Royal Caribbean International RCI is a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL). RCCL's ticker symbol on the stock market is RCL. Now RCI use to be called Royal Caribbean Cruise Line hence the interchangeable use of RCCL. Isn't acronym soup fun! Matt
The correct abbreviation is RCI (Royal Caribbean International). I often shorten it to simply RC sometimes. RCCL refers to one of two things: Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited, the parent company of RCI, or Royal Caribbean Cruise Line which is the old and out of date name of RCI prior to the formation of Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited.
