[email protected]
Cruising on Serenity of the Seas in April but haven't been on a cruise in years. I was wondering if a drink package is now a necessity or if there is still water, juice and coffee available for breakfast and water with dinner in the dining room? Hoski
Those items are still available free.
Jedi Jason
If you plan on drinking 6 cocktails a day then a drink package would be worthwhile. There are also drink packages that include soda only or soda and specialty coffee like lattes if desired.
mom2mybugs
The deluxe drink pkg includes all drinks. If you buy it pre-cruise (I just got mine for 44 a day), it is a good deal if I drink 3 cocktails or glasses of wine, a latte and a bottled water. Figure in non alcoholic drinks in seeing if it’s a good deal. There is definitely free flavored water, tap water, coffees and teas available if you go the free route, and you can also bring 2 bottles of wine and a 12 pack of pop or water on with your carry on luggage. PhantomWolf
I bought the deluxe package with internet just to have the peace of mind and to spread out the cost of my trip. I may not spend the money in alcohol alone, but with the premium coffees and bottles of water, I'm pretty certain I can make it worth it. But the main goal was to not have all of the sticker shock at the end of the trip. mom2mybugs and Hoski 1

BTE
I just used the Deluxe package in Jan for $42 & it was well worth it. Specialty coffee, bottled water, wine, & mixed drinks each day more than payed for it.
JennyB
Thanks @Matt for the video! Each cruise we've just done the refreshment package (since we're not HUGE alcohol drinkers) and just pay for the -maybe- 1 SPECIAL drink per day out of pocket, but it's always good to be reminded of the options.
