3 Night Dinner Package Reservation Q's (Symphony)

On Symphony of the Seas in May, and purchased a 3 Night Dinner Package. However when you purchase it simply asks you to choose one evening (night 1, or night 2) and a time, but doesn't let you choose which restaurant you wish to dine at. At the top of the the Cruise Planner website it says;

" You can still make dining reservations for Night 1, Night 3, Night 4, Night 5, Night 6, Night 7, but availability is limited. Find the perfect restaurant here. Plan all cruise dining! ".

Are the people who get dinner packages left last-in-line for the other guests reserving full price, to choose restaurants when you board?

If I don't our family into Wonderland, It would be pretty big let down ?

Hello and welcome to the blog! The inability to pre-book specific times is kind of the drawback of the package. They will automatically assign you a restaurant up front, but you are not obligated to go there by any means. The key is to go to the dining room as soon as you board to book your dining reservations. The earlier the better. As long as you are not super specific on an exact day and time that you want to eat at Wonderland you should have no problem getting in. It was never full either of the nights that we just went on Harmony. You will love Wonderland, it was our favorite on our Harmony cruise and Symphony even has an extra touch with the Mad-hatter. I actually just posted a review of it on day 3 of my live blog if you want to check it out over in the live blog section of the message boards.

If you have your heart set on a particular restaurant then you should book it individually.

The trade off for any package is accepting some flexibility in the name of saving some money.  Those who make arrangements as soon as they board stand a better chance of getting what they want but you are still behind people who have made individual reservations for a particular restaurant.
