Gabe
Hi all, Has anyone had experience with this? I have a bunch of points, of which I can use some to purchase discounted royal gift cards. The fine print is a bit confusing (and I'm a lawyer no less!), so I'm putting this out there in case anyone has any insight. I've also contacted Royal about this as well. For background info, I did make this most recent reservation while onboard the symphony last week with the NextCruise desk, who then transferred it to my TA. thanks! https://www.allstaterewards.com/mobile/svc?t=productdetails&productid=67490&supercatid=1&productcode=GRCI100
SolariumSnoozer
I don't know anything about Allstate rewards but be careful with Royal gift cards. The Royal gift cards I can redeem can only be used to pay for cruise fare. I tried once to take them on board and apply it to my account and found out the cards were declined. Gabe
Yep, that I'm aware of, which is prob why you never see Royal gift cards at places like Target or Walgreens. I know if you buy through Royal outside of 14 days, you can choose to apply it as OBC.
Beleu
I saw this and tried to buy a $100 one for $90, applied in July 2019 to a cruise booked with "Next Cruise" on March 2019 for a upcoming cruise in May 2020 and had no issues (process by my travel agent). It was a test run but will buy more, it is an easy 10% off.
mworkman
There only good for new cruise bookings and nothing else. They can't be used as a payment or OBC.
