Lovetocruise2002
Dinner Night 4: Izumi Hibachi Tonight was our first time having Izumi Hibachi but it definitely won’t be our last. I loved the meal tonight both in flavour and entertainment! The meal starts with soy beans and a salad. We were not a fan of either but no big deal as the rest of the meal more than made up for it. We also ordered tempura and dumplings for apps. A waitress came around to take our order. You get a choice of carbs (white, brown, or Udon noodles) and then your choice of protein. Because we are SC this sailing, we could get any amount of protein that we wanted. Both Hubby and I got two each. Kids got one. Everyone gets fried rice. The food is cooked to order right in front of you. Our chef not only cooked but provided great entertainment. I knew it was going to be a funny dinner when he began with, “Hi, I’m Dennis from the Philippines, your fake Japanese chef.” After dinner you have a choice of Mochi ice cream or Sesame balls for dessert. Because I am trying to live up the SC life the best I can, I ordered both JLMoran, spiralqueen, Guy Gadwa and 5 others 6 1

Lovetocruise2002
Cupcake class This Class was held in Wonderland today. It was an interesting experience but not one that I would care to repeat or pay out of pocket for. Upon entering, you are asked to wash your hands. Then you are seated at the table with a variety of decorating ingredients. We found that it was hard to follow the instructions as there was one person leading it but the room was quite large and it made it hard to see her if you were not sitting near her. The goal was to create a penguin from Madagascar. Because some of us ended up getting frustrated, we ended up going rogue and creating our own thing. One of us stuck to the plan. Take a guess at who created what.... This one won most creative and the chef took a picture on her own device when we left: Overall impression is that this is a cute activity to do on a sea day but not with the up charge if you had to pay for it. The Solarium is my main reason for booking my cabins at the front of the ship (that, and the elevators are much more manageable than at the stern). It will make for a longer walk in the morning to Starbucks as opposed to Lady O, though. Hopefully the hangovers won't be too bad...
