monctonguy
With so many sites out there and with so many cabin type rooms(6v,2v,4v,ZI etc), wonder what site is the best to use to try and get an easy quick overview for what cabins are still available on the ship? Most sites I have checked ask you to choose a cabin type and then only show those in that particular type..so for Inside cabins..you would have to check about 5-6 different categories for each deck.....quite time consuming.... Any thoughts or experience with this out there?!
monctonguy
Anybody?...Nobody?......someone must know/use a good website for checking cabin availability easily and quickly?
rjac
I usually go into the incognito mode, open up the Royal website and do a mock booking. Once you select the type of cabin you want it will show what cabins are available by deck . Hope this helps.
jticarruthers
The TA I uses has a website that is better than the Royal website but still does it category by category so you have the back and forth to see what's available in each category problem still. I've did mock bookings with BJ's Travel to discover this. I might be wrong, but i think RCI's site give a smaller cabin selection hoping you see in order to expedited your bookings in fear of not getting a cabin. Give this one a shot. I use them and they are pretty good. Choose "CruiseFinder" tab to begin research and narrow from that point on. Happy searching!! https://www.seascanner.com/
monctonguy
Yeah...I have tried a few different options..on Royal as well as a couple others....its a tedious process...was hoping there was a way to just view by Inside/outside/balcony the total # of cabins available without getting into all the various categories....oh well.. thanks for all the suggestions... ctwilliams
A while back someone posted that the Royal Caribbean UK website worked differently in that it showed ALL available cabins. The US site only shows a selection of available cabins. I have tried it and found it to be true. You search for and find your cruise, select the cabin type, and then there is a drop down for every category with all the available rooms. I used this several weeks ago to change rooms to one that was showing available on the UK site but not the US site. https://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/ Sorry that I can't give credit to the original poster. CGTLH
Give Costco Travel's site a shot. Pick the generic category (inside, oceanview, balcony, or suite) then you can view what it available of that type by deck. Example picking a Mariner sailing. Another example using a Harmony sailing

CGTLH
Just now, coneyraven said: Would you happen to have a link to this? https://www.costcotravel.com/h=4001 Only thing funky is once you've selected the cruise line and month it will take you to a page with all ships listed. On the left side will be a search box where you can "Search for Other Ships". coneyraven

It is the same in Canada. I use Costco all the time to check for inventory like @CGTLH showed above. I wanted to respond to this thread early but the day got busy. I always find that the Costo site shows more inventory than the RC site.
Wilson
I use www.bestpricecruises.com just to research cruises and available cabins. If you are on a PC there will be a flashing red icon above each available cabin on the deck plans. I do NOT book cruises with them.
