Th3CruiseGuru
Hello, We are sailing on IOS out of Port Everglades on Feb 18th and I am debating on how early to get to the cruise terminal. I am like @Matt and like to get there ASAP. Would 10am be too early to arrive?
KLA
Currently at a hotel in Miami and plan to arrive at terminal A around 10 AM - you may have to wait a bit, but you’ll be among the first on board!
coneyraven
10:00 is always my desired arrival time in Baltimore too. Also, for our April cruise out of Tampa ....

Lovetocruise2002
We always aim for 10am as well and we're usually on board before 11am but...We just got of Indy yesterday and we arrived at 10am only to have to wait until after 11:30am for boarding. It was delayed for reasons unknown. So arrive early, just be prepared to wait a bit sometimes. tonyfsu21

tonyfsu21
10:00am seems like the best time to arrive. I guess even worse case scenario your waiting in the terminal for a bit but with the anticipation of knowing it’s almost time to cruise! Alibou3193
Is there a seating area for all those waiting to board the ship?

It's segregated a bit (corrals for Star, Suites, yadda) like most other ports, but no real amenities like snacks and coffee you'll find in Miami or Canaveral. Bare bones but very efficient on both departures and arrivals. If you take a taxi out of port at the end of your cruise, make sure they use the meter. Cabs suck here.
