History doesn´t maybe repeat it self, but isn´t there a good chance that Royal repeats same kind of campaigns next year? I guess many of you have the feeling that some kind ofsale is going on whole the time. Maybe the list below gives an idea of if the "sale" is something extraordinary or just normal. The list is made looking a balcony cabin for a 7 day caribbean cruise. Shorter cruises have different discounts and suites normally get bigger savings. But the logic seems to be the same, so the list works for other cabins and shorter cruises as well. Sorry - the date is written day.mont (1.2 = 2 february). For example "cruise planner 30%" means typical cruise planner ”discounts up to 30%” campaign. "kids free" is kids for free. Don´t take this listing too seious! I wouldn't be surprised to hear you don't find a sale that benefits you. That's not a bad thing either! Yea, i am really not expecting one and that is fine, if I wasn't willing to pay the price i wouldn't have booked the cruise. But I got Danette over at MEI tracking it for me just in case. Only real disappointment/surprise was that the initial sale included NO OBC. Still, I got exactly the room I wanted for the vacation of a lifetime so all is well. As a point of reference. I booked this April's Caribbean cruise last January and the price has steadily climbed ever since with no hope of sales......but that means I bought it for $1000 less than now so I kind of got a sale! The longer you wait, the higher chance you run of choice of cabins running out and there is always a chance that a sailing could max out on lifeboat capacity and not allow more than 2 in a cabin. There is no further discount for the 5th passenger. They way Royal's pricing works for multiple passengers in the same cabin is that Passenger 1&2 pay the higher amount and then all additional passengers pay the same reduced amount.
