  1. Hello Everyone, I am traveling to Alaska with my wife in September 2024 onboard Radiance of the Seas. Our ship leaves 09/13, we are arriving in Anchorage on 09/12 spending the night. We are then taking the Costal Classic Alaskan Rail Road Train departing at 6:45AM Anchorage to Seward to get us to the ship. I did not book this through Royal Caribbean as I don't see it as an option anywhere, so I booked it directly through the Alaskan Railroad. I did some research and found alot of older posts pre covid about how taking the train works but wanted to confirm the process. From the sounds of it our baggage will be taken directly in Anchorage to the ship either by a truck or on the train. Also the train station in Seward is about a 11 minute walk from the pier. Is this still the case? Also does Royal Caribbean offer the Alaskan Railroad because if they do, I'd consider rebooking with them so I don't get left behind god forbid something happened. Thanks in Advance!
  2. Hello, Has anyone taken the train from Venice to Raveena? If so, how was your experience?
  3. I know this question comes up semi-regularly, so when this story showed up in my Google feed I figured I'd pass it on for future travelers. There's quite a bit of info all in one place: https://kessiworld.com/travel-blogs/train-from-seattle-to-vancouver/
  4. We will be aboard Symphony of the Seas Apr 21-28, 2018. Does anyone have any suggestions for a tour of Cinque Terra (La Spezia port on Apr 24th) while travelling with a senior who has mobility issues? She is limited to walking short distances and climbing few steps, but we will be bringing a foldable lightweight wheel chair for easy transport. We are concerned about rugged terrain and numerous steps to climb in some of the small villages of Cinque Terre. Greatly appreciate your suggestions.
  5. Ok, so the plan is to take Amtrak from Orlando to Tampa, and the train stops about a mile from the terminal. The train arrives at 12;23 on Sunday, but now I'm starting to panic because someone asked if I have a back-up plan...
