  1. Husband and I are so excited to be going on a royal carribean cruise! looking at shore excursions however we’re concerned with the sometimes minimal information. I have a chronic illness that requires I have access to a bathroom at all times. we are eyeing a snorkeling adventure in labadee, Haiti which it says uses a double decker catamaran. I’m not familiar with a catamaran and I’m wondering do they have toilets to use? I wish I could call to ask someone before booking. I am concerned as this tour is several hours long.
  2. Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to click on this thread. My wife and I are going on the 14th of May 2023 trip and had a few questions regarding shore excursions. I am a second time cruiser but last time was back in 2011 or so on the Liberty of the Seas. Same itinerary different ship. Among the things Ive learned from the first trip, is the fact that the prices of shore excursions you book from the ship are way more expensive than if you book from a 3rd party provider. The port stops that are scheduled are: Palma de Mallorca, Spain Provence (Marseille), France Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy Naples, Italy Can anyone recommend a tour operator or activities we can do on a budget? All your input will be very much appreciated.
  3. This is my first cruise and I have had a lot of advice to not book through the RC website and instead to explore on our own. However, there seems to be very limited information (or maybe just too hard for me to find) in regards to the ports, and how far the different sights to see are and where else you could book them through that are reliable. Does anyone have advice on these places of where to look for other options? Specifically if you have been to these ports and had good experiences with them. Or if we can just grab a cheap taxi and head to the local spots? We are young newlyweds and want to explore the local communities and eat local food and not just shop or sit around (unless it is on a beautiful beach :) ! Also, how/when would we be able to get our money converted so we can use it? Appreciate any advice as this is our first cruise outing and it is our honeymoon! Thanks, Jennifer
