  1. We are cruising out of Cape Liberty next November. Looking at adding a day to the front of the trip to do some NYC things. I've found some websites that are dedicated to "Park, Snooze, and Cruise" or other verbiage where they list different hotels that provide you with a round trip shuttle and parking during your cruise. When I look up the room rates on the actual hotel websites they typically have their own rate option specifically for this. Most of them aren't that much better of a deal than just paying a normal hotel rate and paying the port parking. Does anyone have experience with C
  2. So I have seen multiple people rave about the convenience of parking at the port as opposed to off site parking when you are driving there. And I have also seen mention of the fact that porters will bring your luggage directly to your car at debarkation. I have a couple of questions on this. 1. Am I understanding this correctly and the porters will go actually up to your car to bring you your luggage the full way? 2. If so, is this them going into the parking area or would someone have to run out ahead of time and pull the car around to the pickup curb area? If it make
  3. Instead of paying 1000 CAD for flight to Miami we've decided to pay a bit more for cruise on Anthem and drive to Port Liberty. Any suggestion on parking near the port ? Cruise port parking is $20/day but quick google search shows few cheaper options near Bayonee. Does anyone has any experience with off port parking and their shuttle services ?
  4. Just wanted to give a shout out to this site!!! I read for days and got a lot of great advice on our cruise. It's the first one for me in many moons, and the first for my wife and one of our daughters. We went for my oldest DD grad cruise, another family of 4 and a set of grand parents for a total of 10 in our party. After the cruise was booked, I had to call RC in person for show resizes and dinner resizes because the website wasn't right. So, we drove down from NC, split the drive around Daytona Beach, which was about 3 hrs from the port. Our board times were 1PM, but we went for an ear
  5. Hi all! My husband and I will be cruising out of Miami in March. Parking is $20 a day but I was curious if any veterans knew of other areas close by that are cheaper or free (we’d be willing to Uber to the port to save money). thanks!
  6. I'm wrapping up planning for Sint Maarten on a stop on Freedom in June, and am leaning toward renting a jeep to get around the island verses some of the other options. If you have been there, how is the parking situation around Maho Beach? Google maps shows what looks to be a decent parking lot next to Sunset Beach Grill, but their website doesn't have a lot of information about it.
  7. Hello, I would like to know if anyone went on a cruise recently (the last 2-3 months) from Port Liberty. I'm trying to figure out were to park. I read from different cruise board that the port is a mess with long waiting time to park your car and reviews from different parking companies are no different. Any recommandations? Hotel-Cruise-Package? Thanks
