Hello out there I am planning to sail on Harmony this Sunday with two teens in a loft suite… it feels like there are still so many steps before that happens, but I’m feeling optimistic this morning over coffee as I continue packing and spending time writing this instead of getting work done - so this is the official start of my trip blog ! If the three of us can arrive to Port Canaveral in the next 72 hours : with three negative Covid tests ( it’s running wild here everywhere in Colorado) with a flight that gets us from Denver to Orlando with checked baggage ( teenage girl doesn’t do TSA approved size products ) then it should be smooth sailing ! This cruise has been sold out minus a couple rooms popping in and out of inventory in the 6 weeks leading up to sailing, so I am ready for a packed ship and will be happy to report out on the experience and would love any advice on must do Oasis class things, this is our first time on the larger ships and first time in a suite. Planning has been super simple - I haven’t had any issues with either the app, or cruise planner online except that one day about a month ago when the whole system was down. We got a good deal on the unlimited dining package back during a sale a few months ago, although no one shoreside seems to be able to help me purchase the full dining plan for my 12 year old who doesn’t want to eat from the kids menu and I am told I can do that on board ? Maybe someone out there can steer me in the right direction, not sure if that’s a suite concierge/ guest service/ or dining manager thing - but any direction would be great to have that sorted before our first dinner . I got the email from the Harmony concierge on Monday which indicates that our concierges for this sailing are Junior and Lien. I was able to request our dining reservations at the restaurants we wanted at the time we needed with no problem, including the Izumi hibachi - so far so good on that, and I was pleased since I have been reading about limited availability. we are looking forward to sailing and I’ll jump back on later with some more background and answer any questions you might have !

Are you able to purchase a couple 3 day dining packages within the same cruise? My husband and I will be doing an 8 night cruise coming up but the unlimited dining package seems too much as we won’t utilize it all 8 nights and we don’t have the desire to use it for lunch on sea days. However we think 6 nights of it would be nice and don’t want to spend all the money on individual reservations. So would we both be able to buy two 3 day dining packages? Thank you for any info!!

We will be sailing on Harmony of the Seas soon and I'm wondering if anyone has a recent itinerary they can share for any special events we may need to prepare for? Also any reviews on recent experiences with any of the extra excursions or restaurants we plan to try? We plan to try Wonderland for the first time so if anyone has eaten there recently, how was that? We also plan to try Jamie's and Izumi. Our shore excursions will consist of a beach bed on South Beach in CocoCay, Sea Trek in Cozumel as well as the all inclusive dolphin and manatee experience, and the monkey, sloth, and iguana interaction on Roatan. We plan to just explore the port in Costa Maya I believe. Any feed back I can get would be a huge help.

Starting August 3 Netflix airs their original movie Like Father starring Kristen Bell, Kelsey Grammer and Seth Rogen. Personally we are not Seth Rogen fans, but do like Kristen Bell.
