  1. Hi Gang, Noticed a $14 and change per day single person VOOM on the Cruise planner. This question is to any of you been on FOTS and used Voom, how was it? I know some ships are much better (bandwidth) than others, and I will need to do some "work" :( While on the ship. I don't recall seeing any "scopes" from Freedom recently, but then again, I'm old and forgetful. Thanks so much for any input. Jan 28th can't get here fast enough. Thank you all. Rob and Cindy
  2. First timer and apologies im sure this has been answered but I have looked and cant find. SO I am thinking I will purchase voom 1 device. Can I use my iphone, then log out and then later say use my computer? Yes this is two devices but they are both mine and I wont be using at the same time. Is this possible or do I have to get 2 devices which is not worth my while. OR should I just do the internet cafe. I need to stay in touch with work for emails mostly.
  3. I know there are a number of threads about Voom, but can someone help me with a basic "first timer" question? We only want the ability to occasionally check email from our dog-sitter/house-sitter and elderly parents in case there is any issue over the week. So we do not need streaming of major data. Do we still need Voom for 1 device to have this minimal level of contact, or is there a free email access via an internet cafe or other limited WiFi connection? Specifically on the Oasis (summer trip). Also is the current $11/day 1 device rate on the Planner the normal rate? Thanks to all those of you willing to contribute and help.
  4. Hi Guys Sorry I feel a little dumb asking this, but what exactly is the STREAM voyage package and what are the benefits? I see it does not cost much more than the regular Voom, but I would love to save if I could? Also, it seems on the online cruise planner I can only book internet for the whole cruise or not at all. Thanks for your help Lachlan
  5. When we booked our sailing we were told that The MOS would have free VOOM until sometime in September. I do not see that on the website now. I'm not sure what to think of that and I wonder if we will now have to pay for it. I can't seem to find out any info now that says it is free for our sailing. Anyone know?
