  1. Hi, I am boarding Harmony of the Seas 7n western on 5/1/22 and I will have my 9 month old, and 11 & 13 year old boys. I am looking for all kinds of advice, tips, tricks etc. I plan to take my own travel crib because it's lightweight, compact, and I know its clean. But in general how does a pack-n-play fit into a room? I currently have a Boardwalk Balcony but I did the Offer Up (pending) for the ultra spacious room. I am thinking putting in an offer for the junior suite and also basic balcony room too. Maybe the ocean will be quieter for the baby to sleep. But anyway, I will have 2 adults, baby and 11yr old in my room so I am looking for suggestions on rooms. Should I go to a bigger suite? We are a party of 10 so I am unsure how it works if one room is a suite and the rest are basic. I want to dine with everyone so not looking to be secluded. Baby- How did you heat water for the bottle? How did you get water for the bottle? Did you take a sound machine? Did you take a stroller? Uppababy cruz or umbrella? Suggestions on what to carry on vs pack for the baby. Suggestions on packing enough but not a billion things for a 9m old. CoCoCay - Would you book a cabana? We were debating the over water one but it's not $1,899 so now looking at the chill island one for $999. We are doing the helium balloon and 3 out of 10 are doing the jetski otherwise the day will be chill on the island. All the adults have cruised before just not the kiddos so share what you got. Thanks in advance!
  2. My first ever cruise and we are going all out! Me, my best friend and her sister are going on Symphony of the seas on October 12/ 2019! We are staying in a 2 Bedroom Aquatheatre Suite and are so excited to see what this trip has to offer! I will be keeping everyone up to date here!
  3. We plan on taking full advantage of using the wowband instead of the seapass card on our harmony cruise. Staying in a suite. For shows, is it easier to carry the seapass to show our suite class to access the reserved seating? Or is wow band just as easy? I’ve only been on oasis (no wowbands) where suites had to show sea pass to access reserved seating. Thanks
  4. Starting May 1st, 2016 as most of us know RCCL is starting a new program for guest staying in Suites on Oasis and Quantum Class ships. There are several posts on this forum and Cruise Critic describing what it will include when launched. Matt has discussed what we know at length on his Blog and Podcast as well. This is what I would like this topic to be a place holder for: If you are sailing in a suite on an Oasis or Quantum Class ship in May or June 2016, could you please say when and what class, STAR, SKY, SEA During or after the cruise could you give a brief discription of what the experience was like. If you are sailing SEA or SKY the differences may not be "in your face", but we won't know until launch in May. Now, STAR class is something completely new to RCCL and this is where I am really curious. I am sailing on the Allure June 12th, I will be in STAR class (A1 Aquatheater 2B), I am an uber planner and the grey area that I find myself in makes me nervous. All the newest information from RCCL both online and from the people at C&A tell me "don't pre-reserve, let the Royal Genie do it all." I was told the whole point is to create a stress free and all inclusive vacation experience for the STAR class. I believe them but....being that I am sailing a month after the program starts there is NO actuall feedback yet. Bottom line: If you are sailing in MAY, JUNE or JULY in a suite....use this a placesetter for feedback so everyone can benefit. If you see info on Cruise Critic Forum cut and paste to this one since it is smaller and easier to find information. Thanks
