  1. Hello, Here's a snapshot of the deck plan of Deck 7 on Allure: It looks like the 3V and 4V cabins have the same color! How are we supposed to tell them apart? It matters because I believe the 4V cabins have the head of the bed along the side of the room and the 3V cabins have the head of the bed at the back of the room. This would not apply to earlier classes of ships as I am pretty sure all interior cabins on Freedom-class ships and below have the head of the bed along the back of the room.
  2. On embarkation day, recently have rooms been ready right away? Or is there a wait?
  3. I have never stayed in a suite before (usually just balcony rooms), however because of the pandemic and several cancelled cruises we are considering combining them and go for a suite on one of the new Anthem sailings from the UK. It would probably be one of the smaller suites so I am wondering what the differences are between Junior Suites and a Grand Suite one bedroom as they seem fairly similarly priced from what I can tell. Also what perks do you get through booking a suite as apposed to a standard balcony and is it worth it? Thanks
  4. You veteran cruisers, do you book through RCI or a local travel agent or an online booking agency? This being my first time, I went through Cruises Only (online) and I don't know whether that was the best way to go. The cabin selection seemed awfully scarce for so far in advance.
  5. Hello All, I am not sure who the person I would direct this idea to so I hope the correct person reads this topic. So I was thinking it would be nice to have an area that post pictures of staterooms located on all RCCL ships. Pictures of staterooms help me with the following: If bed is by window or slider The configuration of the bathroom Does it have a shower curtain or enclosure If it has a balcony does it have an obstructed view or the view it provides A way to confirm the "symbols" RCCL provides on deck plans match with picture (upper berths, sofa bed, connecting door, the location of the connecting door) I know the web has another site dedicated to this but it would be nice to just search RCCL. I have attached some photos that I submitted to the other web site for examples. I say the more photos out on the world wide web the better. Any Thoughts?
  6. Hi Just wondering if someone could tell me what the dimensions are for the door to category H ocean view stateroom
  7. I have been looking at stateroom options via our travel agents online site and some rooms say guaranteed whereas others don't. This is our first ever cruise, we booked a superior balcony stateroom on Explorer of the Seas for when it comes to the UK in June. We have a room number on our booking but it does not say anything on the website about it being guaranteed so does this mean that our room may be changed? Surely we can't be downgraded in room?!
