  1. Hey everyone, new to the site but not to cruising, have a trip in beginning of May on the Symphony and we are stopping in both St. Maarten and St. Thomas, We were thinking of doing “4x4 St. Maarten and Beach Escape” and “St. John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel”, anyone been on either of these before? If went on St John excursion, did you feel like you had enough time in St. Thomas as well? Also would like to know name of boat involved in taking you to St. John if anyone knows, Would love some feedback
  2. My wife & I are going on a Canada / New England cruise this fall on the Serenade with stops at Bar Harbor, Maine; Portland, Maine; St. John, New Brunswick & Halifax, Nova Scotia. Does the Serenade dock close enough to the city to allow exploring on our own? Or would we be better off booking a shore excursion to the port? Any port or Serenade suggestions welcome! We are Diamond Plus but it has been 10+ years since we've been on the Serenade or other Radiance class ships. Thanks!
  3. Since we will be kid-free on our next cruise, we decided it would make sense to try St. John this time while in port at St. Thomas. Our goal is to go to St. John and enjoy a beach. I've heard nice things about Cinnamon Bay as a great (and far less crowded) alternative to Trunk Bay. I feel like it's simple enough to take a taxi to the ferry stop, hop on the ferry to St. John. Any advice for getting around to Cinnamon Bay (or really anywhere in St. John). Is it safe to assume there will be ample taxis? Or should I make a reservation for a driver ahead of time?
