  1. I was recently on the Wonder of the Seas out of Barcelona. I have always read that the solarium bridge wings were a good place to watch sail away. So, I set up camp in the solarium, got one of the nice round couch things and drinks early in the afternoon and waited, figuring I would walk out on the wing once we started disconnecting from the pier. However, about 30 minutes before we were set to sail away a crew member came and ushered everyone off of the bridge wings, and then put rope in front of them with a sign indicating they were closed. Is this common? Any idea why they do this?
  2. One of my favorite activities leading up to a cruise has always been watching the webcams, like https://www.portmiamiwebcam.com/. I enjoy watching the ships ? come in and seeing all the traffic at the port as passengers debark and the new ones arrive to board. Watching the ships sail out of port with people waving and holding up signs and displaying their tropical drinks ? always helps pump up my excitement. I think my family tires of it, though, as I tend to start six months or more before the cruise. ? These days watching the ships leaving with no passengers on balconies, no music drifting in from the upper decks, no sign of life, really, is heartbreaking. I'm glad we're finally seeing a bright spot in the future for sailing and I'm very much looking forward to our Southern Caribbean cruise in October.
  3. We may be joined by another family for our upcoming Oasis sailing. We will be staying in a Crown Loft Suite. They will not be staying in a suite. There are three of us and two of them. 1) will they be permitted to come to our suite for sail away, or to even just hang? 2) I understand Coastal Kitchen is for suite guests. Hypothetically, if my son did't want to eat there, could one of the members in the non suite party take his place? I'm doubting, but thought I'd ask. Many thanks! Let's Go Blues!!!!!
