We are doing our first cruise to Mexico this Feb. We cruise a lot but usually going to the other side. We booked Maya Chan and am wondering about the safety of the trip there. Travel advisories seem to pop up for Mexico more than any other locations. It's 2 adults with our 9 year old daughter and I get a bit mama bear thinking about it. Am I completely over reacting???

I was wondering how safe the belongings would be for the Philipsburg excursion. I'm a photographer and really want to take my camera with me for the tour part of this but how safe will it be during the beach part? I dont want anything to get stolen
