  1. Hi guys, Cruise newbie here. Sorry if this question is obvious but.. I booked a Balcony gty room (no room selection) however received a 'change of stateroom email' today and we've been moved to a different room, a balcony room on deck 7 with 50% obstructed views on the Ovation of the Seas. Is this normal to happen? is it there no guarantee your view will be obstructed when you book a balcony room? Im a bit disheartened but if its what they can do i guess it is what it is. Thanks
  2. Hey, I have a question that I was hoping someone could answer. I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a free upgrade from Royal Caribbean. See, I know this sounds weird because nothing in life is free, but me and my boyfriend are going on our second Royal Caribbean cruise together and since we are still young in our early 20’s we booked the cheapest room possible. We booked a guaranteed interior room, hence an interior room and they can put us wherever they want. Though, just yesterday I received our cruise documents that had our room number on it. I looked up the room on Royal Caribbeans deck plans for our ship, Navigator of the Seas, and our room is a Promenade View Interior, which is an upgrade from regular interior. We had no other charges put through our cards, and I know it is not based on a RoyalUp bid because RoyalUp sent me an email stating “the changes in my reservation have allowed me to bid on more rooms, and my previous bids have all been cancelled”. So, my question is has this happened to anyone else? Do I question it? Is it just luck?
  3. Hello I am sailing on the Allure of the Seas. We have reserved two staterooms that are beside each other and have connecting doors. There are two kids and two adults. Is it possible for all seapass cards to unlock both doors? If so, how would we do that? Thanks in advance.
  4. We're going on our first RC cruise in August. We've got two state rooms right across from each other. My hubby and I like the idea of having privacy away from our teenagers, but for booking purposes I had to book my hubby and son in one room and my daughter and me in the other room. Can we still get access to both rooms with our room keys? Any other suggestions for traveling with teens?
  5. Hi, We are a family of 4, looking to book a cruise on the Allure of the Seas. So far we have been quoted for an ocean view balcony and interior stateroom. The price difference between the two rooms for us is $700. For those that have been on the ship or Oasis class ships, is the amount worth it in the sense of actual room? I know the difference and pluses of a balcony, but we are considering it just on the basis of the room size. Any thoughts or experience? Other suggestions? Thanks!
  6. Hi! I want to book a Superior Ocean View with Balcony stateroom on the Harmony (5D Cabin #12702) but I don't know if the sofa bed makes the 3rd and 4th guest share the bed or if it comes separate. I'm traveling with my husband and two kids (21 and 25 yrs old -not really kids) but they won't share the same bed so I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of how the sofa bed looks like when opened!
