  1. Ok, general question. I am headed soon on my 6th cruise this fall for my first R C cruise. My boys (9 and 17) have not been on a cruise (17 yr old was on Disney, but obviously different style). They are not "used to" formal dining situations. To avoid them being uncomfortable and also extra unneeded clothes packing, do you recommend skipping formal night with kids? But also, dont want to just do buffet dining whole trip. The main dining on Disney was great for kids. Also, we are headed on Mariner of the Seas for 4 night Caribbean this fall with one night at sea. would there even be a formal night on that length of a cruise and if so, what night is most likely?
