  1. Hi Everyone! We are headed to Barcelona for a week on Wonder of the Seas in May. We will be travelling with our 8 month old. Would love tips and tricks for those that have travelled with little ones! Some questions I had: - Is it pack n play's that are supplied or are they actual cribs in the room? Did anyone bring a black out to go over top so the parents could keep some lights on after the little one went to bed? - 1/2 pumped breast milk and 1/2 formula. I can't seem to find read made formula in Barcelona, what are tips and tricks with bottles? Did anyone wash the bottles in the sink in the bathroom or buy the bottles with the disposable liners? Can I bring on extra distilled water for bottles or is the ship water safe for an 8 month old? - How easy is it to ask for steamed veggies in the dinning areas or Windjammer? What else am I missing. First time mom travelling for the first time with our baby! HELP Thanks Jenn
  2. I guess I'm just nervous because this trip is on a ship and I'm flying. Most of our trips we drive. I read about people bringing water, buying water. Why? Is the water from the sink not good to fill my travel mug?
  3. Cruising on Serenity of the Seas in April but haven't been on a cruise in years. I was wondering if a drink package is now a necessity or if there is still water, juice and coffee available for breakfast and water with dinner in the dining room?
  4. We were on the IOS, my husband went down the final night to pay the bill. When we returned there was a $12.28 charge for mini bar, which we were told was for the water we drank. Problem is we did not drink the water and as D+ members we had 6 bottles delivered free. Personally I drink the tap water. So my husband called and they removed the charge only for $12.....it is a minor point, but this seems to be a common problem of RCCL billing for water that no one uses.
  5. Hey all! I'm taking my first cruise as an adult (I was 17 last time I went) with my husband this fall. I'm in debate about the drink packages. I don't drink soda at all, so I'm not really interested in paying for that. But I drink a ton of water, tap is fine - do I have to pay anything for this? Also, can one person buy a drink package without the other? My husband will probably want soda. I was planning to pay for the alcoholic drinks individually - can I get some ideas on how much it is for their tropical cocktails? Thanks in advance! RG
  6. Can you carry water bottles onboard or check them with luggage?
