  1. So its official! After two years Dynamic dining is no longer on board Quantum Ships. http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/09/12/royal-caribbean-abandons-dynamic-dining-anthem-of-the-seas I am on Ovation in January 9 and will definitely be hoping that they can nail whatever they replace it with with a very full ship. I understand people were giving it the option a bad wrap but I quite liked the option, although getting different menus each night does sound promising. What do you guys think about the change?
  2. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the elimination of Dynamic Dining on the Anthem of the Seas effective with the November 27, 2016 sailing. The deck four restaurants, American Icon and Silk, will become MTD, with a single check-in station in the hallway, and guests will be sorted to one or the other depending on availability. The deck three restaurants, Grande and Chic, will become standard first or second seating with assigned tables. The venues will remain the same physically, but the menus at all four will be the same. Apparently, the changes will start showing up in Cruise Planner in the next few weeks for sailings on or after November 27, 2016.
  3. i have been trying to make restaurant reservations for Ovation but there is no availability any night in our chosen restaurants . Does that mean it is completely full or do they hold some places back for when you get on the ship? I am travelling with my in-laws, first time cruisers celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and are not adventurous with meals. We don't want to eat all meals in the Windjammer or pay for specialty restaurants. My husband and I have taken 2 RCI cruises and raved about the food and main dining room experience only to find it now completely different on this cruise.
  4. I just called RC to ask if Dynamic Dining is in effect on the Oasis? They didn't seem to know what is happening?? So, if I am going on a cruise in the "nearish future " do I call and make a time reservation -Late or Early?? or how will this work? Also, I wanted to find out if the "Coastal Kitchen" is on the Oasis? They also didn't seem to know.. hmmm.. little confused where to get most up to date information.. Thanks for any info, Cheers, Jill
