Follow-up question; has anybody used the "Smart Check-In" reservation time through the online check-in tool? It looks like it gives you a window of time that you're supposed to show up for, but only has limited (and relatively late) windows. All cruise tips I've read say to arrive early to try to avoid lines and maximize vacation time--any vets have advice on this feature? If I check-in online and then show up at the beginning of embarkation, will I be turned away because it is not my "Smart Check-In" time yet? Thanks! Ben

Thanks all for the tips. I found a Candlewood Suites with free airport and cruise port shuttle for $170. Jumped on it as your replies properly convinced me that $150 was a bit too optimistic! I'm flying in so shuttles to/from the airport and Port Everglades were priority one.

I am departing on Harmony of the Seas March 25, 2017. I arrive a day prior per RCCI recommendation. Anybody have a hotel recommendation that is close to the port, reasonably priced (trying to stay at or under $150), and provides transportation to/from FLL and/or Harmony of the Seas embarkation port? Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Cruising for the first time in a LONG time and fired up to be on the largest in the world--anybody else going on this trip? Any cruising vets (Harmony of the Seas in particular) have some Do's and Don'ts to share? Loving the inside info I've found so far on this site! Ben
