When you booked did you provide names of another 3 people? as I don't believe you can book 4 people without providing names.
You could then change the names but there would be admin fee for that.

Yes, typically around March/April.
the buzz is that Voyager will replace Quantum and possibly Ovation will be replaced as well, possibly by Anthem.

diamond plus what is it and how do you get it?
Once you have spent 175 days at sea you will be diamond plus in the loyalty program or 88 days in a suite (double points).
‘once you reach 75 days you will be diamond when most valuable perks kick in (4 drinks vouchers, discounts, free photo etc.)

We are staying in a grand suite on Brilliance in July
We did the bridge tour on Brilliance in November, so it is definitely an option.
We have also done it on Quantum, Ovation and Independence so I don't think the class of ship matters.
When the concierge contacts you prior to your cruise be sure to mention you would like to do it and I am sure your name will be added to the list.

meet the entertainment staff
Yes, I remember the entertainment tour morphed into the meet the entertainment staff which is a shame. The backstage tours were enjoyable.
I can't remember clearly as it was a few years ago but I don't recall the AAA tour including a tour of the theatre, but I am sure somebody will correct me if I am misremembering.

The bridge tours are normally conducted with other suite quests, and you will get about 15 minutes before the next one. You are limited to one side of the bridge and the main area is roped off. You get up close with the bridge wing controls. Even in star class you only get the standard tour.
Any suite complementary tours are not like the All Access tour which we have also done previously.
All access included the engine control room, the laundry, the food storage and recycling centre as well.
I recommend this tour if you really want to see the ship operations in detail.

As an engineer - I am chomping at the bit to have a look at that engine room! I will ask the concierge when they email us ahead of time. Thanks!
You do not get to see the engines of the ship, you only get to see the engine control room for monitoring the engines. You can see the engines on one of the video screens.

not very inviting and not close to anything else
On Ovation and Quantum I found the problem was those large windows tend to act like a magnifying class and start to cook you if you have a seat in the sun.

location of the SL on the Q class
Good exercise before all those pre-dinner snacks walking from the aft loft suites to the lifts and then all the way back again.

I wish we had the option to use air2sea in New Zealand.

I must admit sailing here in Australia I have never considered tipping the bartender/server for our Diamond drinks.

anyone know what the deal is with the VOOM
Royal has additional suite classes on their newer ships (Quantum, Oasis and Icon) which include WiFi. Older ships such as Freedom, Adventure do not have the additional suite class.

I have tipped in both Australian and USD.

Doesn't Radiance have the loungers exclusively for suite guests on the tiered area?
I think this is only on Voyager class and above.

purchase VOOM after boarding in order to get the 2-day credit
If you are both D+ you will both 2 days each. If you don’t mind sharing a logon and having only one device connected at a time you should be able to get your 4 days free. Activate your free Internet for 2 days and once expired activate the next 2 days on the other account.
we recently stayed in the Royal Suite on Brilliance. Absolutely loved the cabin and the space, you will have a great time.

Does the Radiance have a separate designated area for suite guests around the pool?
Not that I can recall.

I think the reason Royal does not give you a C&A discount on WIFI purchase in the cruise planner is they would see it as double dipping. The CP is giving you a discounted price then you would essentially be getting another discount by applying free days.
The reason you can use it on a ship is because that price is not discounted unless you apply a C&A discount.
I am not saying I agree but I can see a logic.

I'm thinking maybe she's going into 6 months of dry dock
Six months seems like a long time for a dry dock and I don't recall any ship being out of service that long.
I think any dry dock will be more of a technical update/ refresh rather than adding anything new. Odyssey is the newest Quantum (ultra) class, and it basically has mostly the same features as Ovation.
This website compares the two ships.

Perhaps they booked it during the covid restart when they were offering double points?
You are correct. It was the double points promotion in a suite.

Actually, is that a screen shot of the RCL App, doesn't look like it to me.
I am guessing this is some other cruise line.
I feel the OP won't be back to tell us anyway.
