I wonder what the pricing is going to be.  Is it going to be dynamic pricing?  I assume it will also include round-trip transportation.  I guess that would be a great way to guarantee you would return to the ship on time especially at a port like Cozumel 🤪

They’re making money on me.  I never EVER use all of my vouchers.  Most days I don’t use any of them.  I’m sure I’m not the only one…

I just did the final check-in for our 10-13-23 Mariner cruise and there were only 2 questions.  #1 was about 26 + weeks pregnant and #2 asked about current illness symptoms.  Gone are the old questions #1 and #2 about being vaccinated and/or boosted.
YIPPEE !!!!  Sounds like they are no longer tracking whether or not the pax are vaxxed.  VERY good news.

My late grandmother had Alzheimer's.  We would take a photo of her everyday and every time she changed her outfit that way it will assist in case we needed search for her.  We also used photo magnets of people who she was familiar with and put them on her cabin door.  Just make sure you do mention to the cruise line of any medical condition.  We also used a bluetooth tracker like Tile.  Attached the Tile to a piece of clothing or in her pocket.  Have a plan.  We told her to go to any stairway/elevator and stay there.  

So on Anthem out of NJ this week and since it's an 8 day they added a stop in Miami. And they are telling us that everyone on the ship has to get off in Miami and go through security. Even if you had no intention of getting off in Miami. At 7:30am! Is this normal? Cause it seems like BS to me. Why add the stop at all if this is the way the passengers are treated? This is punishment for booking an 8 day itinerary. If this is how it's always been, I super regret booking the Feb 4th 8 day now. Such crap. Like I didn't hate Miami enough already...

I can tell you all tomorrow there will be A LOT to share.

The biggest news here, (IMO) is that you can use a home non-proctored test !  Who is going to go to a pharmacy to get tested if you can home test ?!
Still waiting for unvaxxed to cruise w/o a test but this is still a nice big step forward !

Last update:  The credit was applied and cleared.  I'm glad it happened but took way too long to work through.  Should never have been that difficult but thankful that it is now behind me.  

Just incase anyone else is in the same boat as me and dying to cruise again but are not covid vaccinated, Virgin cruises is allowing 10% of adults (adults only cruise line) to be unvaccinated. We will be coming back to royal I'm sure but for now virgin will have to do. Haven't booked yet but still exciting being able to look at booking knowing it's actually possible to go again. Hopefully all the other cruise lines will follow along soon. 

It is common practice to provide proof of cancellation from the travel supplier (cruise line, airline, hotel, etc) what submitting a travel insurance claim.  It will show if there were any refunds (cash, credit) provided by the travel supplier to ensure you have not already been indemnified.  I was able to get a proof of cancellation letter from Royal Caribbean.  It did take a long time (6 weeks).  It was in the beginning of the pandemic.

ArriveCan app set up is an annoyance.  I find it to be similar annoyance as entering your passport and proof of vaccination info to check-in.
