  1. Not yet. But was researching the "new" charges and found the below. They have the scheduled "transitions" by ship. Royal Caribbean is introducing a new room service menu that features several upgraded selections including a Wagyu Beef Hamburger, Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Salmon with Cucumber Mint Yogurt and Roasted Asparagus. The upgraded menus will start rolling out on March 27th and be available across the fleet by end of May 2017. To view rollout schedule and the new menus, please click here. As part of the rollout of the new room service, a delivery charge of $7.95 per stateroom order will now apply. Continental breakfast remains complimentary and the delivery charge excludes Grand Suites and above. My two upcoming cruises will have the new menu. Room_Service_Menu_2017.pdf
  2. Klaconqueso. Sabor on the Allure was one of our favorite stops. Going on oasis in January - looking forward to that taste "comparison."
  3. 6 days, 20 hours for Radiance and Hawaii! Like fmanke, counting down. And. 267 days until Oasis in January 2018. Envious for a b2b - i'll put that on my wish list.
  4. Sounds like; a measuring of a "new discovery/experience" and the associated feeling. Excellent - thanks. Refining criteria. 1. Itinerary (ports of call) 2. Ship 3. Crew 4. New discovery/experience 5. Relaxing 6. Activities on board I've seen many posts about embarkation & disembarkation process and it takes over the vacation's overall cruise experience. Hmmm??
  5. Seems strange, best rc cruise is not in the caribbean. Out of our 7 RC cruises (5 caribbean & 1 New England), Alaska cruise with the land tour combo has been the best. The land tour guide and accommodations were superior, the Radiance was average (really no complaints, just showing age), Radiance crew superior, ports of call - great, and 2 special sights (full breach whales and Alyeska Resort Summit ). What criteria do you use to evalate your best cruise? Lets remove the "personal events" as a criteria (honeymoon, anniversary, b-day). Thoughts?
  6. Mason. Was your goal all RC ships or ships that you have been on?
  7. Maybe off topic - sidebar, but, we take magnets to post schedule, maps, compass info and notes on our walls. Functional versus for decoration.
  8. Thanks. I thought he was very responsive too. We look forward to meeting Juan next week on the Radiance.
  9. I will have to post after the cruise. We loved the jr suite and felt the CLS would be over the top for our anniversary.
  10. I was given the party line about cruising and being linked with non-suite family members (both are Diamond level C&A members). We can't include them on tours and other benefits. I understand but wanted to verify. The complimentary internet as a suite benefit is only associated with the Oasis and Quantum Class Ships.
  11. Peter, They initiated the first email. Typically, one week prior to your sail date. I think you can reach out before that. Matt, this blog site administer, has posted about reaching out to your ship Concierge, i do not recall the details. I got a personal response within 2hrs, addressing non-suite family members (diamond members) cruising with us and internet service. R, Bob
  12. One more thing. When we decided to jump to a CLS, we did not do any research on suite location. No regrets, so this is not a negative comment. My suite balcony has wonderful views of central Park, putt putt... advice - What do you want to see from your balcony?
  13. Agree with all. We decided to take the leap on Oasis in January. Previously our best accommodation was a Jr Suite.
  14. Poiter. Below is an extract of the email from the Concierge before we board the Radiance of the Seas (Grand Suite), next week. The Radiance is repositioning from Aussie itineraries to Alaskan itineraries. I think benefits would be similar. I did ask questions based on the info below and they were quickly answered. 15. My best holiday cruise was on the Radiance of the seas during the 4th of July. RBRSKI. First - Alaskan scenery - majestic. Seward embraces Independence Day - very festive. The amazing Mount Marathon Race was fun to watch. The Alaska SeaLife Center was worth it. The combination of everything made a fantastic holiday adventure.
  16. My best holiday cruise was on the Radiance of the seas during the 4th of July.
  17. I catch grief about being OCD because I immediately start spreadsheets; costs and schedule. I laminate the schedule and use magnets to post it to my cabin wall (by my map that i post). BTW, I also use magnets for important compass information or messages.
  18. I'm on the Radiance of the Seas for its Hawaiian itinerary 5 - 17 May 2017. During this cruise, which "Rita's" will we have? I was on the Radiance during an Alaska cruise and we loved the crab shack.
