I agree with you. The last time (2 years ago) we were on Anthem we were asked repeatedly to sign up for the dining package, a simple “no thank you” was not enough. They were almost begging us, I felt like I was in the straw market.

We’ll I hope they fix these kinks by next Saturday when we board.

I’ll be on this sailing also!!! No suite for us, we get ready for dinner and sleep in our room so it’s not worth the money for us.

I’ll be getting off when your getting on. This will be our 2nd time on Anthem as well and it’s been 15 years since we’ve been to Bermuda.

As far as I know they don’t put a limit on how many, they just make you wait around 15 minutes between orders.

I was in the Bahamas in March 2 years ago, The weather was great the water was a little cold but still swimable.

Does MEI travel typically offer anything such as on board credit, pre paid gratuity, or specialty dining?

I’ve taking 3 cruises out of Cape Liberty, only one was bad getting out but we had bad storms for about a week leading up to that cruise. While it’s not as smooth as leaving from Florida we haven’t had much issue.

That is correct, people can cancel the drink package at anytime up to 3 days prior to sailing.

Yes it does work on the ship while in port it also works while off the ship in coco cay

Yes The drink package will work on the ship however it will not work while in Miami the way it would in coco cay therefore people are losing a major benefit. For me I usually buy a pineapple and probably fill 7-8 times throughout the day, to do that in Miami would put a serious damper on my wallet. I certainly never said force construction workers to work in bad weather.

How can you be so sure they didn’t know? You made a lot of points none have any bearing on the point I’m trying to make. Telling people this close to their cruise does absolutely nothing for them. For those that got a drink package will no longer receive a day on a beach which drinks were included, imo those people should receive some money back. You think missing out on something because of a hurricane has anything to do with this, not even close to the same.

I disagree, transparency means absolutely nothing after final payment. What good is it?
