  1. We just had this issue on Anthem. The sofa was near the balcony and when pulled out leaves almost no room to get out to the balcony. So I would also like to know the answer so I can plan he opposite for my next cruise.
  2. You can switch because one will still be driver and one the passenger, and they wouldn't put someone that you don't know on your back. That would be awkward lol. That's just so no one gets a free ride, it's all about that all mighty dollar
  3. Or just not be stupid and flick a lit cigarette out into the wind not knowing where it's going to end up. I don't smoke but I've smelled it plenty from my balcony. It's not a big deal to me, just extinguish responsibily..
  4. Is it a flat fee and one can order all they want or is it a charge for each premium selection?
  5. I'm sure that anyone who smokes and has a balcony is smoking on those balconies
  6. They do sell them onboard, I don't know how much they cost in Australia but they are much cheaper onboard compared to the states.
  7. I believe reservations open up 60 days out
  8. My parents got upgraded from a ocean view to a balcony about 2 years ago on embarkation day. They are diamond, however this is the only time I've heard of an upgrade
  9. I'm pretty sure things are always cheaper before you board. Once your on the ship they know they have you.
  10. I think it's about 60 days or so for the my time dining, I guess so everyone has the same opportunity to get the most desired times.
  11. I agree, $25 does not make up for 4-5 hours of vacation time especially on a short cruise.
  12. I think you made a smart choice. One of the main reasons I get the package is paying for it up front just makes it feel like it's part of the cruise payment. I've gotten quit the shock when seeing the bill at the end of the week. Those drinks can really add up.
  13. I think they should just give us our sea pass cards prior to boarding like every other cruise I've been on
  14. I've read that on anthem they do t give you your sea pass cards at check-in, that they are in your room and I cannot get to my room until 1pm and I will be boarding around 11am. My question is how do I get drinks since I have a drink package? I would like to get a cocktail as soon as I board the ship.
  15. I read somewhere that the grande on the anthem has a mandatory suit jacket policy (for all nights). Perhaps this article was during the dynamic dining phase that has since been modified. Anyone have any insight on this?
  16. I did the same, I even called to make sure it was on the up and up because it didn't make any sense that the sip and stream was cheaper that just the drink package.
  17. Does the IRS come into play in international waters? I won $2500 on a carnival cruise and didn't receive any tax statement from them
  18. I'd probably just get off the ship, head down to Junkanoo beach, buying a drink in a coconut along the way, and then try out the local dishes made from fish and conch at the beach. Then head back to the ship. I've been here before but before I was married and had kids. I know it's not the safest port, is Junkanoo beach a clean and safe beach for a family with young kids (9 and 6)
  19. Are any of the free beaches clean and safe enough to take a family to? Cabbage Beach Cable Beach Junkanoo Beach Love Beach Western Esplanade
