After JR, we ventured over to the C&A party. I was mainly there for the aqua acts (like I have seen on Harmony) but instead they had Simeon (the comedian) and the two guys on the high line. After that we decided to wander the ship, deck by deck just because we could. Totally enjoying the aimlessness of our day. In the Solarium, the drink of the day (Margarita Azul: Tequila, Blue Curacao, Triple Sec) caught my attention and I decided to try one. That is the beauty of TeamDX. While we wandered from deck to deck, I just wanted to point out that again, this ship does not feel crowded, even though it is a sea day. Plenty of space in the Solarium, pool deck, and suite sun deck. There are only small pockets where crowds were noticeable, for example, elevators and later at El Loco. Lunch brought us to El Loco Fresh. I really liked this place. Dare I even say that it was way better than Sabor? And it is complimentary! The only thing that I did not care for was the line to get in. We were there around 12:30pm and the line was all the way to the ice cream machine! I enjoyed the drink of the day so much that I grabbed another one to go with my lunch.

Lol! We tried to hide in the corner of the Schooner bar until the alarm but they kicked us out! ? Will do it tomorrow ? I love the way you think!

Came back to the cabin to find Hubby finally awake. He is thinking of heading to Johnny Rockets. Sunday morning vibes as I wait for him to get ready...

Day 2: At Sea “To play with a Symphony today is just fabulous.” - Glen Campbell This morning started off with my usual sea day routine when on OA class, tea in the suite lounge followed by breakfast in CK...solo. ? Suite lounge offerings this morning: Coastal Kitchen breakfast menu. This does not rotate. French toast (my favourite) and fresh fruit.

My kids are 10 and 12 and they saw it in March and they loved it! They still talk about it now.

@LetsTryThisPlace welcome back to the message boards. We have taken a few cruises outside of Royal and each time the experience was the same...good cruise but it never felt like “home”. I truly believe that Royal offers the best “overall package” in cruising. Will there be lines that do a specific thing better, sure, but IMO, none of them can complete with Royal overall. That is why we keep going back to royal. Other lines we have done, the price pay have been good but the entertainment was not, or the entertainment may have been good and the food choices/quality not so good, etc. Should you take other cruises? Sure. But just know what you get into and you won’t be disappointed. So which royal ship did you pick for your next cruise? ?

I am also really looking forward to Hiro and Flight. I once watched a program on the workings of the aqua theater and the cast, it really is amazing!

I never have that but Hubby always does. He says it is a bit salty though. With us being in the loft, Hubby definitely does have some of his benefits mixed up this time ? We have seen Hairspray before in the past. It was on Oasis before when she first came out. I did not really care for it then and tonight’s show has done nothing much to change my mind. Both Hubby and I felt that the cast was fairly weak compared to the Anthem WWRY cast that we just saw or even the Grease cast from Harmony. And overall, that type of production is not really to our liking. Random observation tonight, about two thirds of the way through, it was noticed that people starting walking out. I thought that only happened for Cats ? The original plan was to head over to see HIRO after Hairspray but in the end we are too tired. Decided to come back to our loft and soak up as much time as we can in it. HIRO tomorrow instead.

Tonight’s agenda: On Symphony, The Key and Suites and Pinnacle reserved seating is up on the balcony (Deck 5) not on the raised level behind the sound booth.

Dinner Night 1: Coastal Kitchen French Onion Soup Caesar Salad Crispy Pork Belly Filet Mignon Rigatoni Already full from the day, we just shared a cheesecake ?

Funny stuff... Hubby was wondering why our fridge was empty. ? He also just left a bunch of clothes out on the couch for our loft attendant for complimentary pressing and cleaning ?

Room tour! Crown Loft Suite (L1) - Ocean facing Love it! It is the perfect size for Hubby and I ?. The configuration is almost identical to our Star Loft on Harmony. You will see the similarities in the pictures. The only noticeable differences (because of the shorter width) is the missing extra hallway and vanity leading to the downstairs bathroom and the bigger balcony. I truly just want to stay in my cabin all week. This could end up being a pretty boring blog from this point out. ? When you enter... Backtracking a bit to boarding at Terminal A. Once we got there, things moved quickly. This was our first time in Terminal A and we thought that it lived up to the hype. Suites boarding was extremely efficient. Once you enter, you head right and someone puts you on an elevator right up to the suites waiting area. The red carpet leading up to the elevator is a very nice touch. There are crew members there with iPads to check you in. Beautiful waiting area as well. Definitely the best so far.

Love it! Just like Harmony. I can barely tell the difference for now. We haven’t gone very far though. More thoughts in a few days.
