  1. No worries, I actually think they are becoming a thing of the past or one could also say the crazy has died down.
  2. And when people post pictures of staterooms specifically the threads should be consistent with wording to make it easy to search. For Example, Stateroom Photos "Ship Name" "Stateroom Number" "Category Class" "View" Stateroom Photos Navigator of the Seas 9270 Balcony Ocean Stateroom Photos Harmony of the Seas 12305 Neighborhood Boardwalk Stateroom Photos Anthem of the Seas 7715 Interior Virtual I pulled the information from FLEETWIDE RECATEGORIZATION GRID document. I was thinking of adding "category description" but thought that was too much. Do you think people would embrace this idea?
  3. The only issue I have is the curve at the end of the bed. I am tall(not gigantic) and if I don't move to the center of the bed when made as a "royal king" my feet hang off.
  4. We just were on the Navigator and used them with no problems.
  5. You know whats funny is that the site you mentioned cruisedeckplans.com must be associated with shipcabins.com because I have posted pictures on shipcabins.com and those appear on cruisedeckplans.com. I just thought it would be a nice option for people on this blog to have when visiting this site. Plus it would only be RCCL ships. No Worries Thanks for the response
  6. So 166 have viewed this post, I was wondering out of the 166 or any new people reading it, can someone please let me know who manages this web site so I can share my idea with them. Thanks Rich
  7. It was on the Navigator of the Seas Junior Suite 9270 with a sofa bed for the third and fourth person. I was worried about the shower curtain in the tub but it was made of nice material(not plastic) and weighted so it wouldn't play sticky with your body.lol
  8. I will say it is VERY STRONG!! So I do a little tweaking adding some hot water and milk instead of half and half. It gets you going in the AM!!!!!
  9. Hello All, I am not sure who the person I would direct this idea to so I hope the correct person reads this topic. So I was thinking it would be nice to have an area that post pictures of staterooms located on all RCCL ships. Pictures of staterooms help me with the following: If bed is by window or slider The configuration of the bathroom Does it have a shower curtain or enclosure If it has a balcony does it have an obstructed view or the view it provides A way to confirm the "symbols" RCCL provides on deck plans match with picture (upper berths, sofa bed, connecting door, the location of the connecting door) I know the web has another site dedicated to this but it would be nice to just search RCCL. I have attached some photos that I submitted to the other web site for examples. I say the more photos out on the world wide web the better. Any Thoughts?
  10. We just finished our 9 night on the Navigator of the Seas and during the night around 1am the cruise director made an announcement looking for people with "O" negative blood. A passenger needed a blood transfusion. Not sure if that person got one but he repeated the announcement three times. We were in a port the next morning and a friend saw the medical team remove that person on a stretcher. It would have been nice to hear an update on that person.
  11. Not that I want to give RCCL any ideas but we should and have to look into the Crystal ball to see what's down the pipe line for more charges that we will incur on future cruises: Window Seats in the MDR First two towels no charge any additional $5 dollars per towel Your choice of one roll at dinner each additional $1.50 First ride on Flow Rider, Water Slide, Rock Climbing wall etc Free each additional $5.00 I know I am poking some fun at these topics but god help us if they ever impose them on us.
  12. Ok Let's dissect this response. "Royal Caribbean International has introduced a new premium room (I WOULDN'T CONSIDER SOME OF THESE ITEMS PREMIUM,SCRAMBLED EGGS,FRIED EGGS,GRILLED CHEESE,HOT DOG AND QUESADILLA WOW)service menu in order to enhance the dining experience and to provide more options for guests. The new menu features upgraded items such as the Royal Wagyu Burger, a classic Philly cheese steak with shaved rib eye, chicken wings with a choice of four sauces, and a healthy grilled salmon dish with cucumber mint yogurt, to name a few. In addition, new breakfast selections also have been introduced to the menu to provide an upgraded in-room breakfast experience for guests. Continental breakfast items, which remain free of charge, will still be available to all guests.(GUESS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO ORDER JUST CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, THEY WILL NEVER GET IT ON TIME OR CORRECT) A new convenience fee of $7.95 per order will be introduced for any orders including the new premium selections. This was introduced to better manage the high demand for this convenient and upgraded service.(SO NOW THEY WILL GENERATE MORE REVENUE AND BE ABLE TO HIRE MORE STAFF, SO ONE SHOULD EXPECT NO DELAYS, COLD FOOD AND ORDERS CORRECT) Breakfast items listed under the continental menu will still be free of charge. The new room service menu will be rolled out across the entire fleet starting in March and will be onboard all ships by the end of May."
  13. So why is this showing 2018-2019 Summer for Alaska?
  14. So now revenue is generated for this service Staff and cruise line is making money or breaking even on Room Service Room service no longer hitting the bottom line for RCCL. NOW WE SHOULD SEE SOMETHING REDUCED IN PRICE OR SOMETHING THEY CHARGED FOR SHOULD BE FREE NOW. Looking at the very top level of what the airlines are doing now, bringing back free food service on some flights. Who knows what the right answer is? Just my opinion.
  15. I also wonder how much of the 7.95 will go to the staff? I always tip the person who brings our breakfast in the am.
  16. So I got an email today stating that 2018/2019 Alaska cruises would be open and I can not access them. Looking to book for 2019.
  17. I totally agree with you. They should at least consider not charging certain levels of the crown and anchor program. Nickle and Dimming Everything.
  18. I would like to get the reduce deposit, OBC and my new Crown and Anchor discount since I will be moving up a level.
  19. OK, I need help on this topic. We are going on the Navi in 8 days and I was wondering if I can wait until I get on board 3/17 to book the Thanksgiving cruise on the Symphony or should I do it now?
  20. Even though we have been on a good number of cruises, we purchased for the first time the deluxe beverage package for our spring break cruise that leaves in 9 days!!!!!!! I thought that 45 dollars a day which includes the 18% gratuity was a good deal. Let the beverages start to flow the minute I step on board. LOL
  21. Go to shipcabins.com I posted good pictures of stateroom 7038 on the Serenade from 12/2016
  22. Would love to join this cruise as I want to take the family to Alaska, however, we have to wait until 2019 because we are celebrating multiple occasions during the summer time.
  23. The one attachment shows it based in Miami which makes sense because of the new terminal they are building. We were on the inaugural Thanksgiving sailing for the Harmony hopefully we can do the same for the Symphony!!!!
