  1. If the outlines of the ships are accurate representation of ship dimensions. Using some Photoshop skills this is what YM Witness passing with Oasis still docked would have looked. Keep in mind this doesn't include the tugs that were following along side.
  2. With Spectrum (the ship) booking a Grand Suite or better you'll have access to the Gold and Silver dining rooms. Cheaper alternative would be booking a Golden Balcony or Golden Junior Suite to gain access to these dining venues. From what I can tell looking in the app at the menus for the Silver and Gold dining rooms is they are fixed for the length of the voyage. The other ships in the Quantum class, class that Spectrum is a part of, have Coastal Kitchen. However, Spectrum does not have Coastal Kitchen. One of the main features of Coastal Kitchen is a menu that changes daily. Quantum class ships: Quantum, Anthem, Ovation, Spectrum*, and Odyssey*. *:These ships are part of the Quantum Ultra class. The thought process of Coastal Kitchen, Silver, and Gold dinging rooms is to offer meals made more to order versus the mass preparation that would occur in the traditional dining rooms. Windjammer is buffet style dining. Chops, Izumi Sushi, Jamie's Italian, Sichuan Red, Teppanyaki, The HotPot, and Wonderland are specialty restaurants that'll incur an extra cost. As @AshleyDillo mentioned it might be a good idea to read some of the reviews/blogs from Spectrum. They might dive deeper in to the Silver and Gold dining rooms offerings or any the other restaurants that are unique to Spectrum.
  3. Exception might be during Spring Break at CocoCay with Freedom of the Seas...
  4. Common response might be no, it would be considered ordering two drinks. That said getting to know your bartender can be beneficial.
  5. Difference between the two is number of proteins. The $45.99 option is for one while the other one if for two. Example: Chicken would be one. While chicken and beef tenderloin would be two. If you pick the more expensive option you'd pay the difference between the two.
  6. Sorry to hear things have gone sour. Be sure to speak up, if necessary go higher up the food chain. Also be sure to fill out the comment card at the end. In the past Royal use to call when given questionable feedback. As you mentioned you paid a small premium and also keep in mind the Genie is a striped officer.
  7. Picture has a ramp, thus it is an accessible stateroom. Plus that isn't carpet, it is a rubber like flooring. My thoughts, that is a bumper for the sliding door.
  8. Dining packages are reflected internally by the point-of-sale system onboard. Other than purchase confirmation in the Cruise Planner nothing else is indicated on SetSail or SeaPass.
  9. If charged, yes sales tax will be applied. With drink package or other type of voucher, no.
  10. In that case I'd say it works out better now that you've moved into one of Rahul's suites. No more middle man type interaction.
  11. Think Dexter had entered Genie training with Alan R. around September of 2021. If I'm recalling correctly he was one of the concierges on Allure when I sailed then with Alan R. as our Genie.
  12. Weird the Genies would change guest responsibility after initial contact had been made due to suite change. Hopefully I'm wrong about this. From what I remember when getting the chance to look at the corner Grand Loft. The living room area was tight due to all the furniture they crammed in a smaller area. I really think it is going to be tight once the rollaway is added and the couch extended. @WAAAYTOOOyour thoughts? If I'm recalling you've done a B2B going from the middle to corner Grand Loft.
  13. Want to say April 10th we were dropping luggage off around 10:15 if not a few minutes earlier.
  14. Not sure about the snorkeling gear. Mats, want to say two were already at the cabana. However, the attendant can bring more mats if requested.
  15. Just sailed Star class April 10 out of Port Canaveral. Process is the easiest of the ports in my opinion. When you pull in head to luggage drop off area. If the spot in front of the Star class banner is available stop there. Otherwise follow the guidance of the person directing traffic. If you have to stop beyond the banner a porter will load your luggage on a flat bed style cart and bring it over to the podium/Star class banner. At that point they should apply the Star class luggage tags. Only once the Star class tags are on would I be comfortable having the luggage leave sight. As of late I haven't heard of any reports of being escorted on with luggage at Port Canaveral. After the luggage drop off loop around to the parking garage. Email the Genie had sent of the process... Facing the main entrance of "Terminal 1", there will be Star Class purple banner and “Pier Genies” who will be in charge of receiving your luggage and guide you through the security and check in process. Please only drop your luggage at this designated Star Class area so we can make sure it gets expedited to your Suite, DO NOT leave your luggage with the regular porters; there will be a Star Class purple banner sign and designated pier staff ready to assist outside the main entrance. In order to receive expedited delivery and identify your belongings, if possible, tag your luggage accordingly with the Suite number. If for any reason you are unable to do so, we will also have Star Class tags available at the terminal.
  16. Wonder if this also lifts the mask requirement for Adventure Ocean. Wording gives me the impression of yes.
  17. Thanks for the info. I'll try and see if my TA can get them applied to any bookings. Last attempt my TA was told it would essentially trigger a new booking.
  18. One feature Chops on Wonder has is the side with the patio might be opened up. Giving it an open air feeling. In March this was case. It was real nice having the open air feeling while still being inside. Fortunately, the weather was nice and temperature reasonable. Sure during the summer my opinion might change with higher temperature and increased humidity.
  19. @BrianB Few questions. The bookings you applied the $200 certs. Were they already booked with a Club Royale rate? Also, were the $200 off certs from casino play? Thanks, just trying to build some ammo before I give a fun task to my TA.
  20. Depends on luck. My most recent cruise I earned 355 points and walked out the casino up $45. Of those points 202 were from slot play, with a loss of $155. Doing the math the amount of play was $1,010. Remainder was from a single session of Three Card Poker betting only the $10 ante (table minimum) and play when logical. No idea how long I was playing. Walked away up $200 on that session.
  21. For PRIME you have to earn 2500 points, SIGNATURE 25,000 points, and MASTERS 100,000 points in a year (April 1 to March 31). Similar to Frequent Flyer programs once you hit the earned points you'll gain status for the rest of the current and the next year. 1 point = $5 in slot machine play or $10 video poker play. Tables games: how long you play, average wager, and table game. However, I'm sure a Ouija board is used somewhere in the point calculation process.
  22. Name of the Annual Complimentary Cruise from Club/Casino Royale. Following is what each tier gets: PRIME, interior; SIGNATURE, balcony; MASTERS, Grand Suite.
  23. Sailed on Harmony 4/10 and used the Walgreens Rapid NAAT without any issues. Got results within a hour*. *Turn around time comes down to how quickly the pharmacy runs the test onsite.
  24. Sure can. On Oasis class ships Wonderland bar is a dedicated bar on the same floor as the restaurant entrance. Host stand is one side as you go in and the bar the other. Now on Quantum class ships Wonderland doesn’t have a dedicated bar.
