  1. I just read on another site that if you apply all your FCC on a cruise without placing any money from your pocket, that you will not receive C&A points for that cruise, as it’s considered a free cruise. I don’t see how that’s possible since that is your money. It’s just been converted to FCC, but I don’t know if there is some hidden clause in receiving a converted funds to FCC, I haven’t researched that at this point. Maybe someone here can provide some insight on FCC, to dispel this rumor.
  2. I bring my own, i see people starring at me and just know they are envious of my fine dining cuisine! ? Don't judge me! I don't judge you while you're eating them snails.
  3. Another question, Finally seeing flights for our return trip back from Italy next year in May, however we only see economy ticked listed for a flight that we are looking at, which has Delta One. If we purchase tickets via Air2Sea will the reservations show up in our Delta SkyMiles account where we can upgrade using miles to a higher class seating selection?
  4. Nothing wrong with that, makes for less trips!
  5. We were on a ship where the Suite concierge wouldn't let people leave with drinks in there hand, this was several years ago, by that i mean within the last 2-3 years range. This was the one and only time I've seen that happen. No explanation was given as to why you couldn't leave either. It could have been that persons first time as a concierge, it didn't bother us but several guest weren't happy.
  6. That's why I bought Delsey, lifetime warranty. Send it back, if they can't fix it a new one is on the way. Eventually everything breaks, so with that said warranty is where its at. Check the warranty!
  7. Our names were on the bottom, as it was easier to locate when there stacked up like a cord of wood and you were told you had...those few precious seconds to grab your gear and get back into formation. ?
  8. I don’t know if I would go as far as saying that. I’ve paid a lot more on some of the smaller ships, than what you could get for the Oasis & Quantum class ships. There’s fewer suits on the smaller ships, which fetched higher prices IMO.
  9. Out of curiosity, if you have excursions, DBP and Voom purchased, then do a swap out of 1 person. Do you have to repurchases all the previous items or are they tied to the reservation like the original booking of 2 pax?
  10. I second DELSEY brand, I had purchased ours only to use it twice before the airline crushed one of the suitcases, I sent it off to Delsey and received a new one with 3 weeks.
  11. I first discovered Halibut back in 87 when I was stationed in Alaska...it has been my favorite fish since then. That state ruined me...king crab legs, halibut, fresh smoked salmon, moose burgers, ground and mixed with 80% beef, needs the fat as moose lack that. I could go one as there is a lot of great outdoors food up there. ?
  12. I would love too, however I’ve just got to Tacoma and now work is getting in the way.?
  13. At first I thought FOM is some kind of support group, then I realized it is! ?The hard part is cracking the code ??
  14. I've got the Amex Delta Reserve card and it has a nice free first class companion ticked every year (Lower 48, unless your home is listed as qualifying AK, HI) along with lounge access that I use all the time. Not to mention the 15K mqm points for 30K spending on the card boost your mqm's for higher status and more miles.
  15. @JC123 your probably too far out right now for it to show.
  16. @Debsters41 Tell them that I said you could have all mine! ?
  17. It’s canceled, at least cruising to Canada anyways. Tuesday is when the official announcement on what our options are.
  18. Is it still allowed to bring service animals on-board? Mine’s well trained, I promise. ?
  19. MASSIVE LAND ATTACK Allies launch all-out invasion MICHAEL BAYLEY says war will end 'decisively' WAR IN THE CARIBBEAN MIAMI -- President of Royal Caribbean Michael Bayley announced last night that he had ordered his Cruise ship commanders to "use all forces available, including ground forces," this includes passengers, to secure the beaches looking for secluded sites that would accommodate the Suite guests, not forgetting about those Pinnacles. The announcement came about 10 hours after Barbados ignored Mr. Bayley ultimatum to start withdrawing from beaches by noon yesterday. The actual date and timing of the ground war had been tentatively decided for some time, Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President Jim Berra said later, but had been subject to change depending on the weather or developments on the diplomatic front. The preparations would have been stopped had Barbados complied with the deadline set by President Bayley on Friday, the secretary said. Senior Vice President, Marine Operations Greg Purdy stated that he knows of the secluded location because he awoke from and all-night rum drinking binge, with no one is sight for miles. Mr. Purdy stated that he knows how actor Tom Hanks feels when shooting Castaway! It wasn’t until a fishing party spotted him on the beach and directed him to safety some 500 meters away. Palm trees and local vegetation had blocked his view from seeing Liberty OTS at the port. Mr. Bayley said the decision to launch a ground campaign had been made "only after extensive consultations within our coalition partnership (Celebrity Cruise Lines)." As the map indicated the island of Barbados is under heavy bombardment from RCI ships, with Liberty OTS dropping the ground forces at the port. Note…Rhapsody is miles from the fight, but none the less bringing up the rear. Rhapsody is the ship in the far left, all by her lonesome.
