Never blamed you guys, instead THANK YOU.  Were it not for reading what the two of you wrote about Star Class I would have never given it a thought.  I've stayed Star Class twice and trying to figure out how to get a third stay.

We are on Oasis September 19th.  Fingers crossed

Ours is on the Oasis from Bayonne NJ in September, their Test Cruise isn't until August 22nd. So for now can't anything except wait to read or receive notification if its a go or no go. Anyone currently in the same situation on that ship or another that's been paid in full for and waiting ?

The one time I bid I got it and was beyond happy!

Ok well when we booked Alaska for next may, our youngest (21) said, “I wanna go!” I justified her coming as a college graduation present. So that then required a Junior Suite. Then hubby said, “We’re only going once.” So then I had to add a 3 night land tour. 
 
Dear daughter is now helping to paint several rooms in the house this summer. What started as a reasonable trip has exploded. She’ll need to work some of that off! 

I think I need to start dropping hints to the children lol! We’re only at 32 years but maybe by our 40th they’ll have enough disposable income to treat us! One can hope! 

Wish we were as lucky. Our kids expect us to buy them a cruise as we did several years ago. Told them it a once in a lifetime event but for some reason they expect us to repeat it.

We experienced the elevator thing on the first day.  Our Genie got the elevator doors opened and everyone jumped on.  The Genie politely said I'm sorry you have to get off.  Once empty the four of us plus the Genie got on.  I heard who the He... are they as the doors closed.

I would have asked for your autograph, figuring you were a TV/Movie star I didn't recognize, or at least somebodies Senator or maybe a federal judge. ?

For all the guesses posted above - this is why 2021 will be a great year to cruise!
I've sailed on a ship where 2/3 cancelled because of a hurricane.  It was fantastic!  No lines, few crowds, lots of space.
2021 is shaping up to be an awesome cruise experience! 
In 2022 and beyond people will be like... "I should have cruised more in 2021 without normal capacity".

I hope so.  I just found the Facebook group and requested permission to join,  I love the Oasis this will be my 5th time cruising her.

My favorite memory....Last December (2019) I took my parents on the Oasis to celebrate their 63 wedding anniversary.  We normally drive to Florida but this time I talked them into flying.  Note they had not flown in over 20 years.  What they did not know is that I booked us first class tickets!  We normally stay at holiday inn or such the night before. This time I booked us in the Mandarin Oriental Miami.  By this time they are just beyond happy.  As we left for the ship I kinda forgot to tell them that we were staying Star Class again.  It was the best cruise ever!

We live in North Carolina and always drive to Florida when we cruise. It's a two day trip, but we have friends we can visit in Fl for an overnight visit and stop in Savannah, Ga or Charleston, Sc on the way home for a few days. Flying doesn't work for us.......someone ALWAYS overpacks and brings way too many shoes.....and it isn't my darling wife. I had to say that because she reads what I post and I bruise easily. ?

Sorry.. as much as I love my wife.. there's no way I could spend 17 hours in a car with her having to pee once every hour.. lol.. Ill take my chances with flying lol
