it has been $131.99 for almost a year now price does not change, i want to purchase it but i do not think it is worth $131.99  i was hoping it would have dropped but nothing , so i will do with out.

They pick and choose one everything based on what they think they can get, but I honestly think they made a mistake on Icon with the Coffee Card.  it's out of line with every other thing in CP for Icon vs other sailings.  I think it's not going to stay there for the full BF run (through the 24th)

Good catch.  it was 12.99 on my Icon sailing too.  Went ahead and grabbed it.   Still $31 on my other sailing.  I'm thinking this is a mistake they made.

I am on Icon in Feb '24 and that is the one thing I see for 55% off - so it is showing for $12.99

Sooooo $43.99 for our April Icon. I bought it BUT if the previous sailings say it’s Jersey Shore and nothing but 18-25 year olds….I’ll be cancelling. Figure it’s a one and done because my October Utopia has it for $70.99. 
 
It’s like now they’re trying to get the Virgin passengers. How about catering to the passengers that made you who you are? The ones who put on damn masks and sailed your ships when you were sinking and still sinking in debt. 
 
Be very careful Royal because a lot of people who swore they were “Loyal to Royal” are starting to raise eyebrows and considering the competitors who will match status. 

You only hear bad reviews because when things go well and flights operate on time no one takes the time to report it.  Reports are written because something didn't go as planned and people became upset.  
Airlines, especially these days are greedy, terrible companies that don't care about customer service, or the customer, at all.  Air2Sea can't fix that.  Were it not for governments stepping in and preventing it airlines would double the numbers in their planes and treat us even worse.  
Air2Sea allows one to book airfare and it remain refundable without any fees until the final payment due date of the cruise.  Air2Sea does provide some assurance that if there are issues getting to the cruise they may be able to step in and help but they are still at the mercy of the airlines so this assurance is not like a form of travel insurance and some people infer too much from it.  These days with airplanes so full assured arrival has less merit.  

We use A2S when traveling out of the US.  Otherwise we usually fly SWA since they have so many flights from BWI (our home airport) to Florida and the Caribbean.  Here's the one bad thing about A2S: We wanted to make a slight change (to get a shorter connection) on an outbound flight but leave the return alone.  The only thing A2S could do was to rebook everything so we had to leave it alone.  On the positive side (as another poster mentioned), if there's a problem they will rebook you.  On our recent flight to Vancouver, Air Canada screwed us (long story) and at around 2am, A2S was able to rebook us on another airline.  Basically, A2S saved the day!

I use Air2Sea on 1/2 of my cruses.  The only issues I have had is they don't have the power with the airlines that they used to.  If your flight changes to a bad connection, they don't have the power with the airlines to call them and just fix it.  They can only rebook your flight or submit an email request to the airlines.  With that being said you book your flight as soon as it is available and if the price goes down you just call them, and they will cancel your old ticket and rebook at the new price.  If you miss your connecting flights, you just call them, and they will find you a new connection to get you to your cruise.  If you end up missing the cruise, they will get you to the first port.  On one of my flights, they the airline cancelled my connecting flight home, and they go me a different flight right away on a different airline at no cost to me.
I use them like I do my cruises.  I do my research on the prices and if they are the lowest price, I use them.  then after I book my flight with them, I keep an eye on the prices and if they go down i rebook the flight.  If I can get a better deal on my own, I cancel my Air2Sea and book directly with the airline.  One note:  as soon as you hit your final payment you are locked into your flight.

Looking for Hotels recommendations that are safe area at decent price near all the activities and cruise port in Barcelona Spain i would love to hear all options , as i have never been to Mediterranean

I've visited Barcelona MANY times and have stayed in several different hotels.  What I've learned over the years is that the best place to be as a tourist is as close as possible to the Placa Catalunya.  The Placa is the large public square at the northern terminus of Las Ramblas, the great pedestrian promenade.  All of Barcelona's transportation options use the Placa as a hub...including the HOHO bus tour.  The cheap, easy Aerobus to and from the airport uses the Placa as it's ultimate stop.  El Corte Ingles has an extremely large department store with a great Supermarket in its basement right on the Placa.  Most of the tourist sites are easy walking distance.  A taxi from the Placa to the cruise port is pretty inexpensive for the short ride.
For our cruise coming up in April on Symphony of the Seas, we will be staying both pre- and post-cruise at the H10 Catalunya Plaza--a great little hotel right on the Placa.  We stayed there pre- and post-cruise this past August as well.  We've also stayed in the 1898 Hotel on Las Ramblas just south of the Placa and it's wonderful though a bit pricey.  We've also stayed at the Hotel Continental, right on Las Ramblas, just off the Placa--You can't beat the location and it can be usually had for a bargain.  The Hotel Jazz, just off the Placa is another longtime cruiser favorite.

I really thought the best prices guarantee was part of the discontinued Cruise With Confidence program. Then we are presented with the 48 hour best price statement when booking.  Yet many folks say repricing is still an option.  I really do not know what to believe!

You don't have to cancel/rebook the cruise fare, just reprice it.

Right, but if you book now and a great deal comes out later it can be repriced. You don't lose anything by booking earlier.
