Yeah, yeah, yeah: All the usual. What I did notice was a very unusual repositioning cruise coming out of Galveston and winding up in Barcelona. If I had the time, that would be tops on my list. You'll have to fly home, yes. But if you normally drive to Galveston, you can still do that.

I am not a fan of the drink packages. We didn't purchase one for the cruise we just finished on Sunday. We bought a few drinks, but with the free champagne at art auctions and Captains Welcome, plus from the Chef's Table, we had plenty of beverage. I hope your wife is responding well to treatment, and I'm glad she's able to cruise regardless.

By the way, we ditched the bamboo beach club and did the Appleton Rum Factory experience instead.

I just got my luggage tags yesterday via email, at the 46 day mark. Part of an overall e-brochure with cruise contract, port information, embarkation time window (I was told "12:30-4:30", to which I say "yeah, right!"), and a fair bit of promotional fluff. All printed out and in our tag holders, ready to be clipped to our bags in 45 days!

Unless your TA has thrown in specific items like a specialty dinner or something you shouldn't need anything from the TA.  To check in at the terminal you need the SetSail pass.  You don't need to print the whole 'edoc' package after checking in online.  SetSail passes vary by ship.  As Royal implements new check in changes this year it may change again.  They are trying to make the check in process go even faster so you spend less time in the terminal and more time on your vacation.  
In truth you can just show up to the terminal and be checked in but it's better to have the SetSail pass and luggage tags printed ahead of time.  The porters at the terminal can make up a luggage tag on the spot but it's better to print them in color and to have them attached to your bags already when you pull up to the terminal.

It's funny I was thinking about those ones!! Have to bring alot huh? Good advice, we really love our coffee!  Starting out on Grandeur for a 5 night to Bermuda in May, September back to Bermuda on Celebrity Summit, January Equinox, July Adventure of the Seas to NE/CA, then Southern Caribbean in Nov on Silhouette, then Edge January 2020! LOL Making up for lost time!! 

We went into one of the homes restuarant. They gave us so much food that I tipped heavily. The Cuban sandwich with plaintains. Heavenly.

Empress. The cars were awesome. I was riding aroung in a 58 Mercedes. 

It is small, but the crew was amazing. The food!!!! Havana Cuba. I am doing this in 2019 for the holidays.
